Job Assignment. All bargaining unit members will be paid at the range that reflects their job assignment. If a bargaining unit member works in two or more classifications, the bargaining unit member will be paid at the appropriate range for each of the assignments.
Job Assignment a. Representative has developed a written job description, a copy of which is attached to this Agreement as Exhibit A and incorporated herein. The job description may be amended periodically by the Representative and any revised job description will be provided to the Worker.
b. Specific job duties, working conditions and location of work will be established by the Representative, based on the needs of the Participant, and communicated to the Worker.
c. The Worker is required to perform his or her duties in an ethical manner, preserving and respecting the rights and dignity of the Participant, in compliance with the Minnesota Vulnerable Adults and Maltreatment of Minors Acts, summaries of which are being provided to the Worker.
d. Hours of work may vary from week to week and will be established by the Representative. Worker is not authorized and agrees not to work in excess of 40 hours per week (or a lesser number established by the Representative) without prior written permission from Representative.
e. Worker agrees to perform his or her duties in accordance with the terms of the job description, the instructions of the Representative, and the terms of this Agreement.
f. The Worker will utilize all appropriate safeguards and universal health precautions, assuming at all times the possible presence of communicable disease.
h. Worker represents and warrants that he or she is able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation and that he or she will advise the Representative if accommodation is needed.
Job Assignment. Whenever possible, duties shall be performed by those persons assigned to those positions.
Job Assignment. 11.1 The composition of professional duties and responsibilities of bargaining unit members will be determined by the appropriate administrator. A bargaining unit member engaged solely to teach is not required to attend faculty meetings (other than initial organization or orientation meetings, which include required trainings) or to engage in other activities unrelated to instruction of the assigned course(s), unless specifically compensated for this activity in the minimum amount of $30.00 per hour.
11.2 Bargaining unit members shall be responsible for instruction or other effort as defined in Article 3.2 for up to and including 15 credit hours, or equivalent, per academic year or equivalent period, or no more than 19 hours per week in the case of hourly employees. Bargaining unit members are responsible for advising the University if this limit is about to be exceeded and the University may unilaterally at its discretion cancel assignments to bring the job assignment into compliance with this limit. If cancellation of an assignment is the result of the bargaining unit member’s failure to advise the University that this limit is about to be exceeded, the cancellation payment provided under Article 9.6 may be withheld at the discretion of the University.
11.3 Bargaining unit members shall be notified of their job assignment prior to the beginning of the academic term or as soon as reasonably possible as described in Article 9.5.
Job Assignment. An employee's duties shall be established or assigned by the immediate supervisor at the respective buildings.
Job Assignment. (a) Whenever new jobs or vacancies within the bargaining unit occur, notices of such vacancies or new jobs shall be posted in the plant on the bulletin boards for a period of seven (7) regular working days. Any employee wishing to apply shall do so on forms to be supplied by the Company and the decision to fill such vacancy or new job shall be based on the skills, abilities and seniority. Where skills and abilities are equal, seniority shall govern.
(b) The successful applicant may, in the discretion of the Company, be returned to his/her prior position if the applicant proves not to be a good fit for the new job within the first ninety (90) calendar days. In such case any impacted transfers may also be returned to prior positions. To the extent it considers it appropriate the Company will provide training to the employee during the first five (5) days of a move to a new job.
Job Assignment. 1. Appointment to the District
Job Assignment. Employees shall be given written notice of their job assignment for the coming school year soon as practicable.
Job Assignment. Assignment of work shall be made on the basis of seniority lists described in (a) above. A full time inside employee assigned to eight (8) continuous hours of work shall not be displaced from their assignment by a part time employee.
Job Assignment. Each employee will be given written notice of his/her tentative assignment for the forthcoming year prior to August 1 and the District will make a good faith effort to post an employee’s tentative assignment on the District employee portal before the end of the school year. If changes in employee’s assignments are made after such notice is posted, the employee will be notified prior to August 1 of such changes by mail. All assignments are tentative and are subject to change based on student needs and staffing levels.
