Personal Leave A. B. A regular employee who leaves the employ of the Employer, except on leave of absence or retirement, shall forfeit all of her/his unused days of sick leave.

Personal Leave A. SHORT-TERM LEAVE‌ Any employee covered by this Agreement may, upon written permission from the Department, be granted a leave of absence of up to fifteen (15) working days, provided that the employee gives forty eight (48) hours notice prior to the commencement of the leave. Employees granted such leave must use any accrued vacation time or floating holidays for compensation during such leave. Such personal leave may be used for the following reasons: 1. Personal emergencies where the employee must be away from work for a short period to resolve urgent personal business. 2. Inability to report for work because of natural causes, such as severe weather, earthquake, flood, fires, road conditions, which prevent the employee from reporting to work. Such absences may be unpaid if the employee has no accrued time off available. X.

Personal Leave A. Leave Generally Classified staff working the student instructional school year calendar or twelve (12) months per year will be allowed three (3) personal days per year with pay. Personal days may be used for any reason at the discretion of the staff member pursuant to the prior notice provisions of paragraph B of this section, provided however that applications for the use of personal leave at the beginning or end of any holiday weekend or school recess period will only be approved for compelling reasons. Prior approval shall not be required for graduation exercises for a staff member or his or her immediate family members.

  • Personal Leave Written request for a personal leave of absence without pay will be considered on an individual basis by the Hospital. Such requests are to be submitted to the employee's immediate supervisor at least four (4) weeks in advance, unless not reasonably possible to give such notice, and a written reply will be given within fourteen (14) days except in cases of emergency in which case a reply will be given as soon as possible. Employees needing personal leave days for appointments with medical practitioners may utilize the personal leave language. Such leave shall not be unreasonably withheld.

  • Personal Leaves 8.11.4.1 As approved by the Board, personal leaves without pay may be granted in cases of exceptional need for up to six (6) months. Any such leave exceeding one (1) semester shall not be counted toward tenure or promotion or for computing salary increments. These leaves may be extended by the PVPAA upon recommendation of the xxxx for up to one (1) year.

  • Personal Leave Day A. An employee may choose one (1) workday as a personal leave day each fiscal year during the life of this Agreement if the employee has been continuously employed for more than four (4) months.

  • Personal Leave Accrual All employees shall accrue personal leave at the rate of one and twenty-three hundredths (1.23) hours for each eighty (80) hours in active pay status, excluding overtime hours, not to exceed a total of thirty-two (32) hours accrued in one year.

  • Personal Leave of Absence The Administrator may grant a request for leave of absence for personal reasons without pay provided that he receives at least one (1) month's clear notice, in writing, unless impossible, and provided that such leave may be arranged without undue inconvenience to the normal operations of the Nursing Home. Employees when applying for such leave shall indicate the proposed date of departure and return. Such leave shall not be unreasonably withheld.

  • Paid Personal Leave A. During the first full pay period in each January, full-time employees on the payroll as of September 1, 2011 will be credited annually with paid personal leave credits at the following rate: Scheduled Hours per Week Personal Leave Credits 37.5 hours per week 37.500 hours 40.0 hours per week 40.000 hours Such personal leave may be taken during the following twelve (12) months at a time or times requested by the employee and approved by his/her Appointing Authority.
