PERSONAL LEAVE (SICK/XXXXX'S LEAVE. As a casual employee, you will not accrue personal leave.
PERSONAL LEAVE (SICK/XXXXX'S LEAVE. The provisions of this clause apply to full-time and regular part-time employees (on a pro rata basis) but do not apply to casual employees. The entitlements of casual employees are set out in the casual employment clause of this Agreement.
PERSONAL LEAVE (SICK/XXXXX'S LEAVE. 9.1 Paid personal leave can be taken as sick leave or carer’s leave. 9.2 Full-time employees are entitled to 10 days (to a maximum of 76 hours) paid personal leave after 12 months completed service in accordance with this clause. Part-time employees are entitled to a pro-rata entitlement. 9.3 Subject to this clause, the entitlement to paid personal leave accrues pro-rata on a fortnightly basis but does not accrue during any period of unpaid leave or unauthorised absence. 9.4 Paid personal leave is cumulative provided that employees are only entitled to take, in accordance with this clause, such leave which has been credited to them. Paid personal leave is payable at the employee’s base hourly rate of wage. 9.5 The provisions of this clause with respect to payment do not apply to employees in receipt of worker’s compensation payments. 9.6 Untaken personal leave is not paid out on termination.
PERSONAL LEAVE (SICK/XXXXX'S LEAVE. Personal leave is sick and carer’s leave. Permanent Team Members are entitled to accrue an amount of paid personal leave for each completed 4 week period of service. For Permanent Team Members who work 152 hours per 4 week cycle this is equivalent to an entitlement of 10 days’ paid leave for each year of service on a cumulative basis. Permanent Team Members who work less than 152 hours per 4 week cycle will accrue personal leave on a pro rata basis. If the entitlement to paid xxxxx’s leave has been exhausted, Team Members are entitled to a period of up to 2 days of unpaid carer’s leave for each occasion when a member of the Team Member’s immediate family or household requires the Team Member’s care or support because of personal illness or injury or an unexpected emergency affecting the person. Entitlement to personal leave is conditional upon the Team Member notifying the Company of their inability to attend for work as soon as is reasonably practicable. At the Company’s request, Team Members may be required to provide medical evidence (or if this is not practical, a statutory declaration) of illness or injury. In each year only 10 days of paid Personal Leave can be used as Xxxxx’s Leave Personal leave will not be paid out on termination of employment.
PERSONAL LEAVE (SICK/XXXXX'S LEAVE. In accordance with the Workplace Relations Act, employees (other than casual employees) will be entitled to up to 10 days per year for personal/carer’s leave accrued for each year of service. All employees will be entitled to 2 days unpaid leave per occasion for emergency carer’s leave, if their paid entitlement (if any) is exhausted.

  • Personal Leave Written request for a personal leave of absence without pay will be considered on an individual basis by the Hospital. Such requests are to be submitted to the employee's immediate supervisor at least four (4) weeks in advance, unless not reasonably possible to give such notice, and a written reply will be given within fourteen (14) days except in cases of emergency in which case a reply will be given as soon as possible. Employees needing personal leave days for appointments with medical practitioners may utilize the personal leave language. Such leave shall not be unreasonably withheld.

  • Personal Leave of Absence The Administrator may grant a request for leave of absence for personal reasons without pay provided that he receives at least one (1) month's clear notice, in writing, unless impossible, and provided that such leave may be arranged without undue inconvenience to the normal operations of the Nursing Home. Employees when applying for such leave shall indicate the proposed date of departure and return. Such leave shall not be unreasonably withheld.
