Professional Growth Option. 36 Eligibility to participate in the Professional Growth Option, hereafter referred to as PGO, 37 shall require four (4) years of satisfactory long-form evaluations for employees new to 38 teaching, and two (2) years of satisfactory long-form evaluations for experienced 39 employees new to Tumwater School District who have received at least two (2) years of 40 satisfactory long-form evaluations in their previous districts. The long-form evaluation 41 must occur at least once every six (6) years. 42 44 45
Professional Growth Option. A. The Professional Growth Option (PGO) shall be voluntary to employees who have successfully completed four years of satisfactory summative evaluations, at least two of which must be in the Northshore School District. Employees wishing to change from summative to PGO must notify the Building Administrator/Supervisor prior to February 15.
Professional Growth Option. Section 11.6.1 The Professional Growth Option (P.G.O.) is a formative evaluation process that encourages professional growth, employee innovation, and peer sharing and support.
Professional Growth Option. 1. A certificated support employee and evaluator may utilize a Professional Growth Option as an alternative to the Standard evaluation process. This optional evaluation model is available to employees in one (1) to three (3) year increments. Every fourth (4th) year the Standard observation and evaluation procedures will be used.
Professional Growth Option. 8.7.1 The Professional Growth Option and Staff Development The goal of both PGO and Staff Development is to xxxxxx increased staff knowledge, skills, and abilities in a variety of ways to improve student achievement. The District’s staff development program will assist in providing resources and opportunities such as classes and workshops to support PGO participants in implementing plans and reaching goals.
Professional Growth Option. At all times during the Professional Growth Option, collaborative interaction, based on trust and confidence, is encouraged. Growth is the desired outcome and the Professional Growth Option should not represent a threat.
Professional Growth Option. After an employee evaluated pursuant to this section has four (4) years of summative satisfactory evaluations in the Tukwila School District, the employee and evaluator may mutually agree to use the formative Professional Growth Option (PGO). Professional Growth Option. 10.3.1 The Professional Growth Option (PGO) is available as an alternative to the regular evaluation process. The PGO is voluntary by mutual agreement of the staff member and administrator; it is available to staff who have successfully completed four years of satisfactory summative evaluations. Employees new to the district must teach one year under the traditional evaluation process before changing to the PGO program. The district and the association shall provide a district-wide informational meeting for prospective PGO participants annually, no later than May 15.
Professional Growth Option. After four (4) years of satisfactory evaluations, the District may perform a professional growth evaluation option. The Professional Growth Option (PGO) is a locally established evaluation emphasizing professional growth.
