Recognition for Experience. The District shall grant up to ten (10) years of outside teaching experience.
Recognition for Experience. (1) One (1) additional step will be granted for each year of related instruction experience.
(2) One (1) additional step will be granted for each two (2) years of related work experience.
(3) Experience which is gained as an integral part of earning an educational credential (e.g. apprenticeship, practicum's, work placement, etc.) will not be considered as experience for initial placement.
(4) The above criteria shall be used to a maximum initial placement at Step 6.
(5) The onus is on the employee to submit to the Employer appropriate proof of education and/or experience. If documentation is unavailable at the time of hiring, retroactive placement or adjustments on the salary scale will be granted after appropriate documentation is submitted. No retroactive placements or adjustments will be granted for documentation submitted after the first six (6) calendar months of employment.
Recognition for Experience. All teachers shall be given full credit on the salary schedule for all in-District teaching experience and for up to ten years of prior teaching experience in any other school district accredited by a recognized accrediting agency.
Recognition for Experience. Each teacher will be advanced one vertical experience step each year, provided he/she is not at the end of his/her academic column. Teachers who move from a position at the end of an academic column because of additional education or additional steps added to the salary schedule will advance one vertical experience step each year. Teachers will be given credit on the salary schedule for up to seven (7) years of prior teaching experience in any other school district accredited by a state-accrediting agency.
Recognition for Experience. Registered nurses hired during the term of the Agreement shall be compensate data wage level equivalent to their years of continuous recent nursing experience for purposes of this section, continuous recent nursing experience shall be defined as verifiable clinical nursing experience as a registered nurse in an accredited hospital, ambulatory care setting, long term care setting, home health agency or equivalent health care experience acceptable to the Employer; including agency work, without a break in nursing which would reduce the level of nursing skills. New hires with experience will get year for year credit but will be capped at Step 20.
8.5.1 Prior experience as an LPN will be credited at two (2) years as an LPN equals one (1) year as an RN.
Recognition for Experience. 2018-2019 is a placement year for all staff. All subsequent years will incur longevity stipend amounts. All teachers entering the District shall be given credit on the salary schedule set forth in appendix A for all years of certified teaching experience in any school district in the State of Montana or other certified teaching experience in a school accredited by a recognized accrediting agency. A full year's certified teaching experience shall be defined as teaching full-time not less than one full semester of school in a single school year. For the year including and following 2019-2020 teachers who are maxed out at BA+3, MA, MA+1, MA+2 will receive longevity pay at the following rates:
Recognition for Experience. A newly hired employee shall be given credit for actual years experience on the salary schedule, set forth in appendix A, for each full year of teaching experience in any school accredited by a recognized accredited agency.

Recognition for Experience. Nurses with recent experience in home health care shall receive full credit for each year worked. Nurses with recent experience in any other type of nursing care shall receive not less than 50% credit for each year worked. Newly hired nurses shall be placed on the appropriate step of the wage schedule corresponding to the credit received.
Recognition for Experience. Effective January 1, 2017, new hire full-time Nurses will be given credit on a one (1) for one (1) basis for prior experience in the ER, ICU, and CCU, up to a maximum of 5 years/6 steps. Documentation must be supplied to Human Resources and received prior to date of employment.
