Recreation Staff. (i) The normal full-time work shift for Recreation Division employees shall consist of either seven (7), seven and one-half (7½) or eight (8) or nine and one-half hours (9½) per day. There shall be a minimum one-half (½) hour unpaid meal break at intervals that will result in no employee working longer than five (5) consecutive hours without a break. Any variation to the meal break will be done in accordance with Article 16:03.
(ii) Auxiliaries cannot exceed maximum hours while working in any one position or the maximum hours of their own position without attracting overtime.
Recreation Staff. The regular hours of work shall consist of eight (8) hours per day, forty (40) hours per week, with a twenty (20) minute paid lunch break. Upon mutual agreement between the Employer and the Employees affected, recreation staff Employees may work in excess of eight (8) hours per day to a maximum of twelve (12) hours per day at a regular rate of pay, provided the average hours of work in a four (4) week period shall not exceed forty (40) hours per week.
Recreation Staff. The usual hours of work for Recreation staff will be 8:30 to 5:00 pm however these hours may be adjusted for purposes such as Recreation Committee Meetings, Tournaments and functions outside these hours. Overtime will be effective after 37.5 hours per week.

(b) The regular workweek for Recreation Staff shall be flexible depending on the needs of the City. Recreation Staff may work weekends, evenings and other hours outside of normal business hours. The City shall endeavor to set a predicable schedule for Recreation Staff at least two (2) weeks in advance although such schedules are subject to change.
(c) Recreation staff shall be entitled to overtime for all hours worked in excess of forty (40) in a workweek. A workweek shall begin Sunday night at midnight and end Saturday night at 11:59 PM.
