Regular working time. The length of regular working time shall be agreed in the employ- ment contract and arranged in accordance with the Finnish Work- ing Time Act. Regular working time shall not exceed eight hours per working day or 40 hours per working week. Working hours may be agreed on the basis of an average. While the maximum limits on daily and weekly working hours may be agreed locally for senior salaried employees falling within the scope of the Working Time Act, working hours must average out at the agreed number over a period not exceeding one year. When using average working hours, a schedule of working hours shall be prepared in advance covering the period over which the working hours must average out at the regular number. Averaging of working hours shall be effected over a period not exceeding one year. Longer averaging periods may be agreed upon in a working time bank agreement. On a weekend between two consecutive working weeks, week- ly rest may be granted as a continuous period which is included partly in the first working week and partly in the second working week, provided that the majority of the weekly rest is included in the week the weekly rest is related to. Regular working time. Update of paragraph 5 and adding the application guide When the second day off in a week is transferred to be given at a later time, the working hours of one shift are added to the total working time of the week in question. With an employee’s consent, also the weekly rest day can be transferred for a later date. In this case, the working hours of two shifts are added to the total working time of the week in question. At least one of the transferred days off must be given within two weeks. Application guide: When transferring holidays, the employer must take into account the workload caused to the worker by long periods of work, as well as the occupational safety and health risks involved. The employer must consult the employee in relation to his or her coping with work.

  • Working Time 6.1 The standard working week for full time employees is 37 hours (36 in London). This may be calculated over a period other than a week in accordance with the provisions of Part 3.

  • REGULAR WORK YEAR 1. The annual salary established for employees covered by this Agreement shall be payable in respect of the teachers' regular work year which shall not exceed the number of days as prescribed by the Standard School Calendar.

  • Regular Hours The regular hours of work each day shall be consecutive except that they may be interrupted by a lunch period.

  • Training Time When an employee is ordered by the County to attend training, the time spent in training shall be counted as hours worked. Training which takes place during off-duty hours with attendance voluntary is not hours worked.

  • TRAVELLING TIME 12.01 For the purposes of this Agreement travelling time is compensated for only in the circumstances and to the extent provided for in this Article.

  • Regular Overtime Any overtime work scheduled in advance of the administrative workweek as part of an employee's regularly scheduled workweek is considered regular overtime. An employee shall be compensated for every minute of regular overtime work in accordance with 5 CFR 550.

  • Regular Full-Time Employee A regular, full-time employee is one who is scheduled to work a minimum of forty (40) hours per week, on a regular basis.
