Scheduled Planning and Conference Time. The Parties recognize the importance and value of planning and conference time. The Employer will make every effort to encumber no more planning and conference time than is necessary over the course of a normal workweek. All full-time Employees shall receive paid planning and conference time, either scheduled by the Employer or scheduled by the Employee using flexibility within their normal workday. To the extent provided in this Section, all full-time Employees working in classroom assignments except school counselors, librarians, psychologists, social workers, ACC and high school cooperative education Employees, parent facilitators, regional vocational coordinators, instructional coaches, interventionists, teacher leaders, and certificated school nurses shall receive scheduled released time from their regular teaching duties for planning and conferences except in (a) emergency situations, (b) when another school activity is held during the Employee's scheduled released time, or (c) on days when a shortened school day is established by the Employer. Full-time Employees whose planning and conference time is not scheduled by the Employer (i.e. student services and specialists defined in the exceptions above) shall have flexibility within their normal workday to provide for such activities. 5.3.1 When used in this Section, the following definitions of terms shall apply:

(c) Full-time Employee‖ means an Employee employed by the Employer on Appendix A of this Agreement to work a normal workday and workweek for the entire school term or the remainder of the school term. (d) Part-time Employee‖ means an Employee employed by the Employer on Appendix A or Appendix C of this Agreement to work less than a normal workday and/or workweek for the entire school term or the remainder of the school term. (e) Emergency situations‖ as used in paragraph 5.3(a) above shall not include the School District’s inability to obtain a qualified substitute Employee to provide scheduled planning and conference time which normally would have been provided to an eligible Employee if a substitute was available on a day when such time is scheduled by the Employer. 5.3.2 Full-time elementary Employees who are eligible for scheduled planning and conference time shall receive as a minimum the equivalent of two hundred fifty (250) minutes per normal workweek, the intent being that an Employee may have such time scheduled during one (1) or more normal workdays during a normal workweek. It is an objective of the Employer to provide each such Employee with a minimum of one (1) thirty (30) minute period per normal workday.   • PRE-JOB CONFERENCE a) The Employer shall notify the union that a project has been awarded to the Employer following the award. Prior to the start of each project, a pre-job conference shall be held to determine all site-specific issues as outlined in the Agreement. This conference may be conducted via telephone, through a scheduled meeting or by some other practical means as agreed to by the parties. b) A copy of the pre-job conference report shall be provided to the Employer, the Union and the Job Xxxxxxx (s). A copy shall also be posted on the bulletin board(s) at the jobsite.

  • Parent-Teacher Conferences A. Unit member shall be available at mutually arranged times during the regular school day to confer with parents regarding learning difficulties, student progress and/or behavioral problems a student may be experiencing. Unit members are encouraged to arrange a meeting or conference with parents before or after the regular school day if both time and place are mutually agreeable. B. In the event that a bargaining unit member does not communicate with a parent on the established date for parent unit member conferences as per the calendar adopted by the Board, a reasonable attempt to contact that parent will be made. A reasonable attempt constitutes a phone call or email. If that contact is not returned, the bargaining unit member shall not be obligated to make further contact.

  • PRE-BID CONFERENCE Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Monday, May 23, 2022, @ 2:00 PM, located at W220 Pre-con Conference Room, 0000 Xxxxxxxxxxxxx Xxxxx (Xxxx Xxxxxxxxx) Xxxxxxx, XX 00000. Attendance is not mandatory but is encouraged.

  • Conference Telephone Meetings Directors or members of any committee of the Board may participate in a meeting of the Board or such committee by means of conference telephone or similar communications equipment by means of which all persons participating in the meeting can hear each other, and such participation in a meeting shall constitute presence in person at such meeting.

  • Church Conference Vote At least two-thirds (2/3) of the professing members present at a church conference of the Local Church must vote to disaffiliate from The United Methodist Church “for reasons of conscience regarding a change in the requirements and provisions of the Book of Discipline related to the practice of homosexuality or the ordination or marriage of self-avowed practicing homosexuals as resolved and adopted by the 2019 General Conference, or the actions or inactions of its annual conference related to these issues which follow.” Local Church shall provide documentation, to the satisfaction of Annual Conference, which evidences the result of the disaffiliation vote taken at the church conference. Such documentation must be certified by an authorized officer of Local Church and shall be included as an Exhibit A to this Disaffiliation Agreement.

  • Audio Conferencing In lieu of any other rates and discounts, Customer will pay fixed per-minute per bridge rates ranging from $0.0095 to $0.3200 for the following Conferencing Services: Domestic Audio Conferencing: Fixed per-minute rates per participant for domestic Audio Conferencing calls originating and terminating in the U.S. Mainland, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, based on method. Instant Replay Plus: Fixed per-minute per-participant rates for Instant Replay Plus usage using toll free number access and toll number access.

  • Annual Conference Vote This Disaffiliation Agreement must be “ratified by a simple majority of the members . . . present and voting” at a duly-called session of The Western North Carolina Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church, as required by Judicial Council Decision 1379 and ¶ 2529.1b(3)
