Secretarial and Clerical. Summer work hours shall commence two (2) days after the close of school in June and terminate five (5) days before the opening of school in September. The hours shall be a total of six and one-half (6 1/2) hours including a ten (10) minute break and a twenty (20) minute lunch.
Secretarial and Clerical. The normal workday for secretarial and clerical employees shall be seven and one- half (7½) hours plus a one (1) hour unpaid meal period, seven and one-half (7½) hours plus a one-half (½) hour unpaid meal period, or eight (8) hours plus a one- half (½) hour unpaid meal period as currently prescribed by work assignment and work location. Subsequent changes in length of workday will be subject to negotiation.

Secretarial and Clerical. The following minimum guidelines are for the staffing of secretaries and clericals in the elementary, middle, and high schools with the intent of providing an effective and efficient level of secretarial support to the building and school community. Factors to be considered in determining part time secretary and clerical hours include, but are not limited to: student enrollment, special programs (i.e. special education, bilingual, early childhood, etc.), student mobility, at-risk status, new technologies, new initiatives, customer service, and school/community relations. 1. If between ratification and expiration of this Agreement, a part-time secretary position or a Clerical position is vacated a combo position will be posted for the school site. The current part-time secretary or Clerical will have first choice at the position without an interview. If it is declined by the current Clerical or part-time secretary she/he will be displaced (Article IX) and will follow the process outlined in Sections 8.1 and 9.1 to fill the position. The displaced employee will be placed in the Secretarial Pool pursuant to Section 9.1.1 of this Agreement. Current part time secretarial/clerical combo positions at one school site, will be paid at the Group B classification rate. Any member who accepts a combo position at one site will be paid at the Group B classification rate. A minimum of (1) full time secretary: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week. Secretarial and Clerical. In the event of a permanent reduction in work hours of a position or elimination of a position, the least senior secretarial/clerical employee shall have their work hours reduced or will be laid off. Each displaced employee can claim seniority over a less senior employee in the district.

Secretarial and Clerical. In the event an application for a non-credit college course is made, the credit value for tuition, comparable to a credit course, will be determined by the superintendent of schools, and will be a pre-requisite to his approval or rejection of such application. Requests for tuition reimbursement will be subject to the following: The Board shall provide a reimbursement of up to one hundred twenty dollars ($120.00) per credit for the duration of the contract to all unit members who take a course, or courses, provided that said unit member has received prior approval, for said course work, from the superintendent of schools.

  • PERSONAL AND ACADEMIC FREEDOM A. The personal life of a teacher shall be the concern of and warrant the review and appropriate action of the Board only: 1. The Board and the Association agree that academic freedom is essential to the fulfillment of the purposes of the Xxxxxx County School System, and they acknowledge the fundamental need to protect teachers from any censorship or restraint which might interfere with their obligation to pursue the truth in the performance of their teaching functions. They agree that subject to curriculum guidelines and appropriate supervision by the teacher’s evaluator, the responsibility for teaching all appropriate material rests with the teacher. D. No student’s grade shall be changed without a conference between the student’s teacher and the administrator. After the conference, the teacher will be notified, in writing, of the administrator’s decision. In the event the student’s teacher is not available for a conference, the administrator will notify the teacher in writing of any changes in a grade.

  • OFFICER AND CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER CERTIFICATION Pursuant to Section 6(b) and 6(c) of the Agreement, the undersigned Chief Executive Officer and Chief Fiscal Officer of the Recipient, as both are designated in Appendix B of the Agreement, hereby request the Director to disburse financial assistance moneys made available to Project in Appendix C of the Agreement (inclusive of any amendment thereto) to the payee as identified below in the amount so indicated which amount equals the product of the Disbursement Ratio and the dollar value of the attached cost documentation which was properly billed to the Recipient in exclusive connection with the performance of the Project, or, in the case of a final disbursement request, the amount entered at Line V of this Appendix E. The undersigned further certify that:

  • Assistance and Cooperation (a) Each of the Companies shall provide (and shall cause its Affiliates to provide) the other Companies and their respective agents, including accounting firms and legal counsel, with such cooperation or information as they may reasonably request in connection with (i) preparing and filing Tax Returns, (ii) determining the liability for and amount of any Taxes due (including estimated Taxes) or the right to and amount of any refund of Taxes, (iii) examinations of Tax Returns, and (iv) any administrative or judicial proceeding in respect of Taxes assessed or proposed to be assessed. Such cooperation shall include making available, upon reasonable notice, all information and documents in their possession relating to the other Companies and their respective Affiliates as provided in Section 9. Each of the Companies shall also make available to the other Companies, as reasonably requested and available, personnel (including employees and agents of the Companies or their respective Affiliates) responsible for preparing, maintaining, and interpreting information and documents relevant to Taxes. (b) Any information or documents provided under this Section 8 or Section 9 shall be kept confidential by the Company or Companies receiving the information or documents, except as may otherwise be necessary in connection with the filing of Tax Returns or in connection with any administrative or judicial proceedings relating to Taxes. Notwithstanding any other provision of this Agreement or any other agreement, in no event shall any of the Companies or any of their respective Affiliates be required to provide the other Companies or any of their respective Affiliates or any other Person access to or copies of any information if such action could reasonably be expected to result in the waiver of any Privilege. In addition, in the event that any of the Companies determine that the provision of any information to the other Companies or their respective Affiliates could be commercially detrimental, violate any law or agreement or waive any Privilege, the Parties shall use reasonable best efforts to permit compliance with their obligations under this Section 8 or Section 9 in a manner that avoids any such harm or consequence.

  • Professional Development and Training The Company shall pay for or reimburse the Executive for any reasonable professional development or training.

  • Assistance Registry Operator will co-­‐operate and provide reasonable assistance to ICANN and the CZDA Provider to facilitate and maintain the efficient access of zone file data by permitted users as contemplated under this Schedule.

  • General and Administrative Costs The Borrower shall ensure that the payment of all the general and administrative costs of the Borrower and the Owners in connection with the ownership and operation of the Ships (including, without limitation, the payment of the management fees pursuant to the Management Agreements) shall be fully subordinated to the payment obligations of the Borrower and the Owners under this Agreement and the other Finance Documents throughout the Security Period.

  • Employment and Training Administration The ratio of trainees to journeymen on the job site shall not be greater than permitted under the plan approved by the Employment and Training Administration. Every trainee must be paid at not less than the rate specified in the approved program for the trainee's level of progress, expressed as a percentage of the journeyman hourly rate specified in the applicable wage determination. Trainees shall be paid fringe benefits in accordance with the provisions of the trainee program. If the trainee program does not mention fringe benefits, trainees shall be paid the full amount of fringe benefits listed on the wage determination unless the Administrator of the Wage and Hour Division determines that there is an apprenticeship program associated with the corresponding journeyman wage rate on the wage determination which provides for less than full fringe benefits for apprentices. Any employee listed on the payroll at a trainee rate who is not registered and participating in a training plan approved by the Employment and Training Administration shall be paid not less than the applicable wage rate on the wage determination for the classification of work actually performed. In addition, any trainee performing work on the job site in excess of the ratio permitted under the registered program shall be paid not less than the applicable wage rate on the wage determination for the work actually performed. In the event the Employment and Training Administration withdraws approval of a training program, the contractor will no longer be permitted to utilize trainees at less than the applicable predetermined rate for the work performed until an acceptable program is approved.
