Section 9.4.2. 29 The returning employee shall be assigned to the same or a similar position as occupied before the 30 leave of absence. Employees hired to fill positions of employees on leave of absence will be hired 31 on a temporary basis. It shall be the responsibility of the employer to inform replacement 32 employees of these provisions.
Section 9.4.2. 44 The employee shall retain accrued sick leave, vested vacation rights, and seniority rights while 45 on leave of absence. However, vacation credits, sick leave, and seniority shall not accrue while 46 the employee is on leave. Provided, however, that if such leave is approved for extended illness 47 or injury, seniority shall accrue.
Section 9.4.2. 38 For an employee who transfers to the District and who timely furnishes the verification 39 required by Section 9.4.1., the District shall adjust the employee's longevity to include years of 40 comparable service at another district in the State to the extent that the transferring employee 41 would have received service credit for such comparable service had the employee been 42 employed by the District.
Section 9.4.2. 43 In situations where time is lost by reason of judicial leave, industrial accident or industrial 44 illness, seniority credit shall continue to accrue as outlined in Section 8.9.2. 45
Section 9.4.2. 2 All returns from health leave are contingent on a written statement of release from the attending 6 work site.
Section 9.4.2. No more than one (1) personal day per year, at the employee’s discretion, may be cashed out at 20 the employee’s current rate of pay. These days may be cashed out prior to the conclusion of 21 the school year.
Section 9.4.2. In the event of layoffs, the District will provide the Association with the following information as 23 soon as practicable after the extent of the layoff is known:
