Seniority During Leave. 19 With the exception of military leave as referenced in 12.6, any nurse granted 20 a leave of absence pursuant to this Article shall maintain their existing 21 seniority, however, nurses will not accrue seniority during any leave without 22 pay.
Seniority During Leave. An employee on leave of absence may accumulate seniority only under the above subsections and then only during the first three (3) months of a granted leave of absence.
Seniority During Leave. During any approved leave of absence, employees will continue to accumulate seniority but not for salary advancement purposes and at the end of the leave will be returned to their former job or, if it is not available, to a comparable position.

Assignment Modification/Route Bidding/Bumping
A. Vacancy Defined: A vacancy shall be defined as an opening in any bargaining unit position which has been created by a death, resignation, termination, transfer or leave of absence if the leave is for a time period in excess of one (1) year. If leave is for less than a year, vacancy shall be filled with a regular substitute driver via seniority.
Seniority During Leave. Seniority shall accumulate during leaves of absence in accordance with 5.3. Periods of leave of absence due to the same cause shall be considered the same period of leave unless separated by a return to work of at least fifteen (15) days.
Seniority During Leave. (a) During any leave of absence with salary and for up to thirty (30) calendar days in the case of unpaid leave, the employee will conint ue to accumulate seniority. At the end of any leave, the employee will be eligible to return to hsi/her former or equivalent position.
(b) An employee granted leave under this Article must notify the Board in writing by November 1st, or March 1st, of intent to return to work on the subsequent January s1t or September 1st, whichever is applicable in any school year. Failure to do so will render the employee ineligible for a position for the subsequent school year. A letter from the Board confirming this status of ineligibility will be forwarded to the member by December s1t or April 1st, whichever isapplicable.
Seniority During Leave. Seniority shall continue to accrue during the FMLA leave. Salary schedule credit shall also continue to accrue while on such leave.
Seniority During Leave. Seniority shall continue to accrue throughout the leave of absence up to thirty (30) days. Leaves of absence of more than thirty (30) days shall not count toward seniority; with the exception of a leave granted under FMLA.
