Short Changeover. (a) If shifts are scheduled so that there are not twenty-four (24) hours between the start of an employee's shift and the start of the next shift, overtime rates apply to hours worked on the succeeding shift within the twenty-four (24) hour period. (b) Where an employee exercises seniority rights to work shifts, one of which falls within the twenty-four (24) hour period from the start of the previous shift, the employee shall not be entitled to claim the premium rate referred to in paragraph (a).

Short Changeover. If shifts are scheduled so that there are not ten (10) hours between the end of an employee's shift and the start of the employee's next shift, overtime rates shall apply to hours worked on the succeeding shift which fall short of the ten hour minimum, with a guaranteed minimum three and one-half (3 1/2) hours of the second shift to be paid at overtime rates.

Short Changeover. (a) If shifts for regular full-time employees are scheduled so that there are not 22 hours between the start of an employee's shift and the start of the next shift, overtime rates apply to hours worked on the succeeding shift within the 22 hour period. (b) If shifts for regular part-time employees are scheduled so that there are not 16 hours between the start of an employee's shift and the start of the next shift, overtime rates apply to hours worked on the succeeding shift within the 16 hour period. (c) Where an employee exercises seniority rights to work non day shifts, one of which falls within the 24 hour period from the start of the previous shift, the employee shall not be entitled to claim overtime rates referred to in paragraph (a). (d) If shifts for auxiliary employees are scheduled so that there are not 12 hours between the start of an employee's shift and the start of the next shift, overtime rates apply to hours worked on the succeeding shift within the 12 hour period and for all hours worked within eight hours of the end of the shift and the time the employee reports for duty on his next shift.

Short Changeover. (a) There shall be a minimum of twelve (12) consecutive hours off duty between the completion of one (1) work shift and the commencement of the next. (b) When it is not possible to schedule twelve (12) consecutive hours off duty between work shifts all hours by which such changeover falls short of twelve consecutive hours shall be paid at overtime rates in accordance with Article 16.
Short Changeover. (i) (a) If shifts are scheduled so that there are not eight hours between the end of an employee's shift and the start of the next regular shift, the employee shall not be required to report to work until there are eight clear hours between the end of the last shift and the beginning of the next regular shift. In such cases, the Employer agrees to pay the employee, at straight-time rates, as if the employee had reported to work for the regularly scheduled shift.
