Sick Bank Accumulation. All full-time Nurses earn 1.5 sick days per completed month of work and this is accumulated in the Nurses sick bank. Maximum accumulation is six (6) months or 900 hours. Sick bank hours, to be used for personal illness, are an Nurse’s insurance of continuous income during long term illness. Accrued sick leave credits are a form of insurance and as such there will be no cash payment for unused credits. Sick leave credits for permanent part-time Nurse’s who work half time or more are accrued on a pro-rata basis. Nurses will receive a statement of sick leave credits annually and upon request

Accumulated time shall be used for paid time off for: personal illness and incapacitation; religious observation; funeral leave; required personal court appearance; and to care for a family member as defined in B.5.

  • Sick Leave Accumulation a. All unused days of sick leave at full pay for all employees, shall accumulate to a maximum of two hundred ten (210) days. Such sick leave benefits so accrued will be usable after the annual full days allowed, and prior to any half pay benefits.

  • Vacation Accumulation (a) Vacations are not cumulative from year to year.

  • Rate of Accumulation Full-time employees shall earn cumulative sick leave at the rate of 1.25 days per month during each calendar year to a maximum of seventy-five (75) days in total. Regular part-time employees will earn sick leave on a prorated basis.

  • Seniority Accumulation (a) (i) Part-time employees shall have their seniority expressed on the basis of number of hours worked in the bargaining unit. (The foregoing is for clarity only and therefore does not modify an employee’s level of seniority under this collective agreement or previous collective agreements.)

  • Notification of Accumulation Employees shall be given a written accounting of accumulated sick leave days no later than June 30 of each school year.

  • Sick Bank The purpose of the Sick Bank (hereinafter referred to as the Bank) is to provide sick leave to contributors to the Bank after their accumulated leave has been exhausted and, more specifically, to provide such leave from the Bank in cases of prolonged illnesses. The Bank rules and guidelines are as follows:

  • Overtime Banking Employees desiring to bank overtime may elect to do so under the following criteria: * The half time associated to overtime may be banked up to a total of 24 hours per calendar year. This limit may be replenished throughout the year. * Banked time must be taken in full day increments or the employee may elect to receive the pay. * Employees must have cleared or be scheduled to clear their hours account by December 15. If the account is not cleared then the employee will be paid the balance in cash. * Payment will be based on the current rate of pay at the time the banked time is used. * Time off must be requested in advance, unless bona fide illness. (Company will monitor) * Time off will be subject to Company service requirements and no additional cost to the Company. * Implementation of the Overtime Banking arrangement will be subject to the development of an appropriate computer system.

  • Accumulation of Vacation Vacation leave may be accumulated to any amount provided that once during each fiscal year, each supervisor's accumulation must be reduced to two hundred and seventy-five (275) hours or less. If this is not accomplished on or before the last day of the fiscal year, the amount of vacation shall automatically be reduced to two hundred seventy-five (275) hours at the end of the fiscal year. Supervisors on a Military Leave under Appendix I shall earn vacation leave as though actually employed, without regard to the maximum accumulation set forth above. Vacation earned in excess of the maximum accumulation shall be taken within two (2) years of the date the supervisor returns from the Military Leave.

  • Seniority – Maintained and Accumulated Seniority shall be maintained and accumulated under the following conditions:
