SICK & DOMESTIC LEAVE. In applying the provisions of this clause the parties note: - their agreed intent to have healthy staff and a healthy workplace - that staff attending work unwell is to be discouraged and the focus is on patient and staff safety - that they wish to facilitate a proper recovery and a timely return to work - that staff can have sick leave and domestic absences calculated on an hourly basis.

SICK & DOMESTIC LEAVE. (i) For the first year of service, employees shall be entitled to 16 days allocated in the following way. After 2 weeks continuous service, employees shall be entitled to sick/domestic leave of 4 working days. After 3 months and each successive 3 month period up to the end of the first year of service, a further 4 days will be allocated. For each successive year, employees will be entitled to 16 days per year. Part-time employees shall be entitled to sick/domestic leave calculated on a pro-rata basis according to the number of days worked per week to a minimum of five (5) working days. Period of service Additional days for each period of service After two weeks continuous service and up to three months 4 days over three months and up to six months 4 days over six months and up to nine months 4 days over nine months and up to one year 4 days
SICK & DOMESTIC LEAVE. 15.1 On appointment to a DHB, a full time employee shall be entitled to ten (10) working days leave for sick or domestic purposes during the first twelve months of employment, and up to an additional ten (10) working days for each subsequent twelve month period. The entitlement shall be pro-rated for part time employees except that a part-time employee shall receive no fewer than five (5) working days paid sick leave for the first twelve months of employment and a minimum of five (5) additional working days for each subsequent twelve month period. The employee shall be paid at relevant daily pay as prescribed in the Xxxxxxxx Xxx 0000, for the first five days in each twelve month period. Thereafter they shall be paid at the normal rates of pay (T1 rate only). A medical certificate may be required to support the employee’s claim.
SICK & DOMESTIC LEAVE a) Ten days paid leave per year is available from the commencement of employment and may be accumulated up to 80 days. Sick leave may be used for sickness or injury, or where a worker is needed to care for a sick family member or close friend. Additional paid time off shall occur for cervical screening and/or mammography. An additional day sick leave shall lift this to 11 days effective 24th July 2021.
SICK & DOMESTIC LEAVE. 22.1 From the date of commencement of their employment, and annually on the anniversary of that date thereafter, employees are entitled to up to ten days sick/domestic leave paid in accordance with the Holidays Xxx 0000. Sick/domestic leave shall accumulate up to a maximum 60 days by carrying forward from one year to another any unused sick/domestic leave up to 50 days.
