SICK LEAVE ACCUMULATION REIMBURSEMENT. Reimbursement for accumulated sick leave shall be provided for all teachers of the Bargaining Unit. At the end of each school year, each teacher will receive twenty (20) dollars for each day of the current year’s unused sick leave that is in excess of ninety (90) days of accumulated leave, to be paid with the summer warrants. Upon retirement, as per state retirement plan, each teacher shall be paid at the rate of fifty (50) dollars per day for all sick leave accumulated up to a maximum of seventy-five (75) days. SICK LEAVE ACCUMULATION REIMBURSEMENT. Reimbursement for accumulated sick leave shall be provided for all Members of the Bargaining Unit. Upon termination of employment, Members shall be provided $10.00 for each day of accumulated sick leave up to 60 days. Members shall be provided with $50 for each day of accumulated sick leave above 60 days. (2023) Transfer leave from other districts is not eligible for reimbursement. If the Member chooses to transfer all or any part of his/her accumulated sick leave days to another district, said Member shall not be reimbursed for days transferred. Members shall apply in writing to the Superintendent or designee for reimbursement of accumulated sick leave within thirty (30) days following the termination of employment.

  • Sick Leave Accumulation a. All unused days of sick leave at full pay for all employees, shall accumulate to a maximum of two hundred ten (210) days. Such sick leave benefits so accrued will be usable after the annual full days allowed, and prior to any half pay benefits.

Part- time employees will accrue sick leave credit on the same proportional basis that their employment schedule bears to a full-time schedule, up to a maximum of eight (8) hours in a calendar month.

  • Vacation Leave Accrual ‌ After a full-time employee has been in pay status for eighty (80) non-overtime hours in a calendar month, the employee will accrue vacation leave according to the rate schedule below. Vacation leave accrual for part-time employees will be proportionate to the number of hours the part-time employee is in pay status during the month to that required for full-time employment.

  • SICK LEAVE WITH PAY LIMITATION 175. An employee who is absent because of disability leave and who is receiving disability indemnity payments may request that the amount of disability indemnity payment be supplemented with salary to be charged against the employee's sick leave with pay credits so as to equal the amount the employee would have earned for a regular work schedule. If the employee wishes to exercise this option, the employee must submit a signed statement to the employee's department no later than thirty (30) days following the employee's release from disability leave.

  • Vacation Carryover (a) A regular employee may carry over up to 10 days' vacation leave per year. Vacation carryover will not exceed 10 days at any time. An employee will not receive pay in lieu of vacation time, except upon retirement or termination, or as requested by the employee in Clause 18.13 (Vacation Payout).
