Sick Leave and Family Responsibility Leave. 26.01 A Graduate Assistant may be absent without loss of pay or benefits for up to two (2) days per semester, because of illness or family responsibilities. In such cases the Graduate Assistant shall make every reasonable effort to arrange an exchange or substitution for his or her scheduled duties acceptable to the Supervisor. Sick Leave and Family Responsibility Leave. 27.01 A Per Course Instructor may be absent without loss of pay or benefits for up to three (3) teaching hours per course per semester, because of illness or family responsibilities of the instructor. In such cases, the Per Course Instructor shall make every reasonable effort to arrange an exchange or substitution for their scheduled teaching duties acceptable to the Administrative Head. Where this is not possible, the Administrative Head shall make such arrangements.
