Software Evolution Sample Clauses

The software-evolution clause defines how software may be updated, modified, or enhanced over time during the term of an agreement. Typically, this clause outlines the rights and responsibilities of the parties regarding the implementation of new features, bug fixes, or compatibility updates, and may specify whether such changes are mandatory or optional for the licensee. Its core practical function is to ensure that the software remains current and functional, while clarifying the process for managing changes and minimizing disputes over software maintenance and improvement.
