Staffing Process. A) Employees shall submit applications in writing within fourteen (14) calendar days of the employment posting. Immediately following the closing date of the competition, the Employer will supply the Union a list of applicants and their seniority, the time, date and location of where the applications will be reviewed. The Union shall be entitled to have a representative present during the staffing process.
Staffing Process. The following order will be used to provide for an adequate number of personnel on a shift by shift basis: a. In implementing these staffing levels, the Hospital will take into account the professional judgment of the Charge Nurse. b. Assigned personnel will be floated from units over-assigned, to units with a need for additional personnel. c. Supplemental nurses will be called in. d. Part-time nurses who have indicated an interest in extra work will be called in. e. Full-time nurses will be asked to volunteer for extra shifts. f. In the event a shortage still exists, the hospital supervisor will meet with charge nurses to evaluate the staffing needs and adjust staffing assignments. g. If it is considered to be an unsafe situation by the charge nurse and hospital supervisor, on-duty nurses will be asked for voluntary overtime beginning with 4 hour blocks. h. If no volunteers are available, the hospital supervisor will redistribute staffing resources housewide to balance staffing at no less than minimum needs. i. If redistribution would create other unsafely staffed units, then external staffing resources may be used. The Hospital will provide a Resource RN, based on volume, complexity, admit capacity, and availability.
Staffing Process. An early retirement offer will be made to all active full time employees in Local 1000A branches who are age 55 or older. The offer will be made 6 months in advance of the opening of a new facility. The timing of their departure will be managed by the Company based on the needs of the business. Staffing Process. (a) As soon as practical, but no later than the second Friday in April, the Chair of the SAC shall convene a meeting of the SAC and all secondary school principals for the purpose of reviewing the system staffing needs, the staffing timelines, and to determine the names of the potentially redundant teachers. The Chair of the SAC will immediately inform, in writing, any teacher identified as potentially redundant in accordance with Article 14.04. In addition, principals will be required to identify vacant positions of responsibility for the purpose of immediately posting to the system such positions. (b) Before the last Friday of April, each school principal shall return to the Chair of the SAC the following : ( i) recommendations for vacant positions of responsibility; and
Staffing Process. Implementation 2012 During the period of April to July: (a) Existing full time permanent staff will be surveyed for a transfer request. DECEs requesting a transfer will identify up to two (2) geographic regions, as provided by the Board. (b) An external posting for open positions will be posted on applytoeducation for a period of three (3) working days. Openings will first be open to the Occasional DECEs, and should openings remain, a second posting open to candidates outside of the Board will be posted for a period of three (3) working days. (c) Full time permanent staff requesting a transfer will be placed first during pool placement day. If it is not possible to accommodate either of the DECE’s requests, it is understood their name will be removed from the transfer process, and they will remain at their current location. (d) Newly hired full time permanent staff will rank all four geographic regions, and will be placed after all existing full time permanent staff. Newly hired full time staff will be administratively placed based on the remaining openings in conjunction with their identified geographic preferences.
