Charge Nurses. Charge nurses shall receive a differential of $3.60 per hour in addition to the appropriate Staff Nurse hourly rate set forth above. Relief charge nurses shall receive, during the period of assignment to the charge nurse function, $2.50 per hour in addition to the appropriate Staff Nurse hourly rate set forth above.
Charge Nurses. Seniority shall prevail in advancement to Charge Nurse vacancies, provided the skill, ability, and qualifications of the nurses are equal. The Medical Center shall be the sole judge of the relative skill, ability, and qualifications of the nurses, taking into account the feedback of the staff on the unit. The Medical Center will not exercise that judgment arbitrarily or capriciously.
Charge Nurses. Effective the first full pay period following July 1, 2013, the Charge nurse premium shall be four dollars ($4.00) per hour. A nurse will be deemed to have been assigned to Charge Nurse responsibilities if the nurse (1) has been selected to fill a Charge Nurse vacancy, or
Charge Nurses. The Medical Center will send a letter to ONA confirming 4 that for the term of the contract, the Medical Center will not challenge the status of 5 nurses holding positions currently called Assistant Head Nurses and/or Charge Nurses 6 as bargaining unit nurses based on the National Labor Relations Board ruling of
Charge Nurses. Seniority shall prevail in advancement to Charge Nurse 23 vacancies, provided the skill, ability, and qualifications of the nurses are equal. The Medical 24 Center shall be the sole judge of the relative skill, ability, and qualifications of the nurses 25 (including leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills and abilities), which said 26 judgment shall not be arbitrarily or capriciously exercised. 27
Charge Nurses. An experienced registered nurse with demonstrated clinical and leadership skills who has been selected by the Employer to serve as a leader and resource person to the staff on specific units on the nurse's shift. Nurses assigned charge responsibilities will have these additional responsibilities considered in their direct patient care assignments.
Charge Nurses. The parties agree that Charge Nurses who work a ‘4 on 5 off schedule’ will participate in the vote for any trial and final vote for a 4 on 5 off schedule. Paid Holiday Lieu Days It is agreed that in order for a Full-time employee to achieve full time hours over the course of a year on the 4 on 5 off schedule, the employee must take their lieu days for paid holidays on a day off. These paid lieu days are in addition to the 3 – 11.25 hour days required by Article F-4 (e) of the collective agreement. Job Share Positions It is agreed that since Job Sharers are regular part time, they each receive the percentage in lieu, which includes Paid Holiday pay. In addition, the job sharers must work an additional 3 – 11.25 hour days required by Article F-4 (e) of the collective agreement. The job sharers will decide among each other who will work the additional days.
Charge Nurses. A charge nurse shift shall receive premium of one dollar ($1.00) per hour received by charge nurses working in the Hospital for all hours worked in that capacity.
Charge Nurses. The parties agreed to add the following provision to the LMC articles of the respective contracts:
1. The Hospital and MNA shall jointly create a Charge Nurse Assignment Task Force.
Charge Nurses. Charge nurses shall receive a differential of $3.60 per 24 hour in addition to the appropriate Staff Nurse hourly rate set forth above. Relief charge 25 nurses shall receive, during the period of assignment to the charge nurse function, 26 $2.10 per hour in addition to the appropriate Staff Nurse hourly rate set forth above. 27 2. Shifts.
28 a. Nurses will be deemed to be assigned for shifts as follows: Half or more of the nurse’s assigned hours are between the hours of: Shift
7 a. m. and 3 p.m. Day 3 p.m. and 11 p.m. Evening 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. Night 2 Such assigned hours do not include hours which fit the definition of daily 3 overtime hours under Article V, Section D.
4 b. Effective with the first full pay period beginning after 5 ratification of this Agreement, nurses assigned for evening and night shifts 6 shall be paid, in addition to the appropriate Staff Nurse rate set forth in 7 Section A above, as follows:
8 i. Evening shift: $2.50 per hour.
9 ii. Night Shift: $5.80 per hour.
10 c. If the nurse’s assigned hours fit more than one shift definition 11 under subparagraph a above, the nurse will be deemed to be assigned for 12 the shift with the higher shift differential.
13 d. If a nurse is assigned to work hours which fit the definition of 14 daily overtime hours under Article V, Section D, the nurse shall be paid 15 shift differential, if any, for such daily overtime hours according to the 16 nurse’s assigned shift under 1 above. However, if a nurse works four (4) 17 or more hours of such daily overtime in a workday, the applicable shift 18 differential for such daily overtime hours shall be the higher of (a) the shift 19 differential of the nurse’s assigned shift or (b) the shift differential of the 20 shift in which the majority of such overtime hours are worked. For 21 purposes of (b) in the preceding sentence, the day shift is considered to 22 be 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., the evening shift 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., and the night shift 23 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. This paragraph will apply only to hours for which shift 24 differential would not otherwise be paid under the other paragraphs of this 25 section 2.
1 e. However:
2 i. Nurses scheduled for a 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. shift (day 3 shift as defined above) will be paid evening shift differential for all 4 hours worked on the shift after 3:30 p.m., if those hours do not 5 otherwise qualify for shift differential under the other paragraphs of 6 this section 2; and
7 ii. Nurses who, on the date of ratification of this 8 ...
