SURVEYING SERVICES. Any surveying services required shall be the responsibility of the contractor and considered incidental to the scope of work under this contract and therefore covered under the terms of this contract. No separate payment shall be made. Upon completion, the Contractor shall prepare an as-built plan for the project site in which the finished grades are certified by a Registered Land Surveyor. Six (6) copies of the as- built plan shall be submitted to the Construction Manager and Engineer. The cost of the as-built plan shall be incidental to the contract. No separate payment shall be made.

SURVEYING SERVICES. Surveyor shall perform Surveying Services as identified in Exhibit B entitled “Surveying Services.” County will prepare and issue Work Authorizations, in substantially the same form identified and attached hereto as Exhibit C and entitled “Work Authorization No. ”, to authorize the Surveyor to perform one or more tasks of the Surveying Services. Each Work Authorization will include a description of the work to be performed, a description of the tasks and milestones, a work schedule for the tasks, definite review times by County and Surveyor of all Surveying Services and a fee amount agreed upon by the County and Surveyor. The amount payable for a Work Authorization shall be supported by the estimated cost of each work task as described in the Work Authorization. The Work Authorization will not waive the Surveyor’s responsibilities and obligations established in this Contract. The executed Work Authorizations shall become part of this Contract. All work must be completed on or before the date specified in the Work Authorization. The Surveyor shall promptly notify the County of any event which will affect completion of the Work Authorization, although such notification shall not relieve the Surveyor from costs or liabilities resulting from delays in completion of the Work Authorization. Should the review times or Surveying Services take longer than shown on the Work Authorization, through no fault of Surveyor, Surveyor may submit a timely written request for additional time, which shall be subject to the approval of the County. Any changes in a Work Authorization shall be enacted by a written Supplemental Work Authorization before additional costs may be incurred. Any Supplemental Work Authorization must be executed by both parties within the period specified in the Work Authorization.
SURVEYING SERVICES. All necessary drawings showing the location of property lines, buildings, and other appropriate information shall be furnished to the Contractor through the drawings and specifications. The Contractor shall provide competent surveying and engineering services to verify the given information and to execute the Work in accordance with the Contract requirements and shall be responsible for the accuracy of Contractor’s surveying and engineering services. The Contractor shall immediately notify the Division Manager of any discrepancies and confirm such notice in writing within five (5) calendar days.
SURVEYING SERVICES. (1) Sienna Ranch Road - Topographic Surveying Services (from Sienna Springs Boulevard to Discovery Lane) $ Research subdivision plats, right-of-ways, easements and other available survey elements, which may affect the physical boundaries of the Project. Research Fort Bend County Official Records for current deeds and plats for properties affected by the Project. $ Project meetings and administration $ Establish GPS/project control points $ Control traverse/locate property corners $ Locate utility lines and public infrastructure in areas to be modified $ Process fieldwork and establish control/base line $ Prepare control, tbm, plan view and right-of-way map III. Fee for Surveying Services = $ 6,300.00 TOTAL ENGINEERING & SURVEYING FEES = $54,285.00 Additional Services If authorized by COUNTY, ENGINEER will furnish the following Additional Services that are not considered a normal or customary part of the Scope of Work. Additional Services shall be paid for on an hourly basis at the rate shown in the Schedule of Hourly Rates by Personnel Classification (Attachment "B"). Separate budgets will be established for any Additional Services authorized by the COUNTY. NO ADDITIONAL SERVICES ARE ANTICIPATED FOR THIS PROJECT AT THIS TIME.

The CONTRACTOR shall submit the name of the surveyor, who shall be licensed in the State of Hawaii and will be doing this work for it throughout the course of the project, to DHHL prior to beginning work at the site. Upon request, DHHL shall provide subdivision plat maps to the CONTRACTOR to enable its surveyor to stake out the various work. Property pins for the existing lots adjacent to the project site may remain intact and may be visible. However, DHHL makes no warranty that these existing pins are accurate or have not been disturbed. The CONTRACTOR shall not disturb any existing property pins and is solely responsible for their replacement. The CONTRACTOR shall accurately replace any existing property pins disturbed or removed by it and shall certify that they have been re-installed in the correct locations at no cost to DHHL. The CONTRACTOR and CONTRACTOR's Licensed Professional Land Surveyor shall provide a letter jointly certifying that all work, including the grading, were built to the lines and grades shown on the record drawings. Except where specifically provided for in the proposal, all work necessary for, or related to surveying services shall be considered incidental to the various contract items.
