Teacher Notification. A. Teachers shall be given notice and a copy of any personnel file information released prior to such release.

Each teacher with responsibility for the education of a student on an IEP shall be provided with electronic access to the IEP, be provided an explanation of what they are responsible to do to help achieve IEP goals and objectives and be advised that they can speak to any IEP team member if they have questions or concerns about the IEP or student progress.

TEACHER EVALUATION A classroom teacher will be evaluated pursuant to the [5D(+)] performance evaluation system consistent with Revised School Code Section 1249 and the Teachers’ Tenure Act. 20% of the evaluation score shall be based on pre/post subject area tests, nwea growth, and any other assessments as determined annually by the grade-level/department level teachers with cooperation of the administration. Standardized tests such as M-STEP, ACT, PSAT, or SAT will not be used to determine student growth unless mutually agreed upon by both parties, which will be determined at the beginning of the evaluation cycle.

The Committee agree to notify each teacher by the date of the first paycheck each school year of the following: (1) the number of sick days they have accumulated as of the first school day of September of that same school year, and (2) any requirement that a teacher take an in-service course that school year under the provisions of Section 18.1.

The District shall notify the teacher of each pupil who, within the preceding three school years, has engaged in acts which violated Education Code section 48900, except for subdivision (h); provided the District has written records of such conduct which it either maintains in the ordinary course of business or which it has received from law enforcement.
