Time and One Half Rate. Unit employees shall be entitled to compensation at one and one-half times their regular rate of pay for all hours worked in excess of one hundred sixty (160) hours in a twenty-eight (28) day period.

Time and One Half Rate. Where the basic workweek is 37 1/2 hours, overtime in excess of 2 1/2 hours, and where the basic workweek is forty (40) hours, all overtime shall be compensated as follows: a. Non-exempt employees shall be entitled to overtime pay at the rate of time and one half. Shift differentials shall also be included where appropriate. b. Hours compensated while on authorized overtime in accordance with RSA 99B and RSA 99C shall not constitute “time worked”.

Exempt employees shall be entitled to the regular rate of compensation for each hour of overtime worked, except for Search and Rescue missions. Exempt bargaining unit members shall be paid at one and one half (1 ½) their regular hourly rate for all overtime hours while engaged in search and rescue missions. b. Non-exempt employees shall be entitled to time and one-half of compensation for each hour of overtime worked.

In the case of any call made prior to 5:00 a.m., time and one-half (1-1/2 times the straight time rate) shall prevail until the employee has had at least a nine (9) hour rest period.
