Transfer Outside of Bargaining Unit. An employee who is transferred to a position outside the bargaining unit for a period of greater than four (4) weeks and less than fifteen (15) months or such longer period as the parties may agree upon shall retain but not accumulate seniority held at the time of transfer. In the event the employee is returned to a position in the bargaining unit within this time period he shall be credited with the seniority held at the time of transfer and shall resume accumulation from the date of his return to the bargaining unit. Union dues will not be deducted for the period of time an employee is outside the bargaining unit under this Article.

Transfer Outside of Bargaining Unit. (a) An employee, who is transferred to a position with the Employer outside of the bargaining unit for a period of six (6) months or less, or for an academic year, shall continue to accumulate seniority for the period of the transfer.
Transfer Outside of Bargaining Unit. The Employer agrees no employee shall be transferred to a position outside the bargaining unit without the employee's consent.
Transfer Outside of Bargaining Unit. In the event of a temporary transfer to a position outside the bargaining unit, the Employee shall accrue seniority within the bargaining unit for a period of up to six (6) months. During this six (6) month period the Employee shall pay Union dues. The Employee shall have the right to return to his/her position in the bargaining unit at any time during the six (6) month period with full seniority. Thereafter the Employee's seniority shall be frozen. Seniority shall cease twelve (12) months after the Employee leaves the bargaining unit. Before a temporary transfer to a position outside the bargaining unit may be renewed the position must first be posted and the previous holder of the temporary position must return to the bargaining unit for a period of at least ten (10) working days. The Union shall be informed of the return to the bargaining unit by the Employer of an Employee from a position outside the unit.
Transfer Outside of Bargaining Unit. 12.8 Any employee who is transferred out of the bargaining unit, but who continues in the employ of the Employer, shall retain his seniority in the event he is returned by the Employer to the bargaining unit. An employee shall not accumulate seniority while he is out of the bargaining unit.

Transfer Outside of Bargaining Unit. An employee who accepts a promotion with the Employer to a permanent position outside the bargaining unit and who is returned to the bargaining unit within three months shall not be given credit for all seniority and service accrued while outside the bargaining unit but will retain all seniority and service accrued in the bargaining unit prior to the promotion. Should the employee return to the bargaining unit, all other employee(s) shall revert to their previous position.
