Unifor Social Justice Fund. (a) The Employer shall in each pay period, deduct $0.01 per hour for all regular hours worked from the wages of employees covered by this Collective Agreement.
Unifor Social Justice Fund. In the event an employee elects to contribute one (1) cent/hour worked to the Unifor Social Justice Fund, the Union will notify the Company of such and the Company will make the appropriate deductions and remit such contributions to the Unifor Social Justice Fund on a monthly basis. All such contributions are tax deductible. Letter of Agreement # 2 Clothing Allowance, Article 26.7 The Company agrees to apply the terms of the clothing allowance to employees under the following criteria; If the employee appears on air between 13 and 26 occasions during the previous 6 months of each installment of clothing allowance payments on September 1 and March 1, the employee will receive $337.50 If the employee appears on air more than 26 occasions during the previous 6 months of each installment of clothing allowance payments on September 1 and March 1, the employee will receive $675.00 Letter of Agreement #3 The Company confirms that it will secure the Special Retirement Allowance (SRA) through a Retirement Compensation Agreement (RCA) as defined under the Income Tax Act. Therefore, the Company will fund the SRA on an annual basis through a RCA via a separate trust.
Unifor Social Justice Fund. The University will agree to pay two cents ($0.02) per hour for all compensated hours worked for the purpose of contributing to the Unifor Social Justice Fund, remitted on a quarterly basis. The Fund is a registered non-profit charity which contributes to Canadian and international non-partisan, non-governmental relief and development organizations. Unifor Social Justice Fund. The Unifor Social Justice Fund is an independent, non-profit corporation and is an officially registered charitable foundation under the Income Tax Act. The Unifor Social Justice Fund is designed to aid in international development, through the relief of hunger, rebuilding, improved education, social infrastructures as well as to encourage self sufficiency. The Employer agrees to submit to the Unifor Social Justice Fund an amount equal to $0.01 for each hour worked by all employees in the bargaining unit. However, for the purpose of deduction from the company’s payroll the Union will set a nominal monthly amount to be deducted from employees and remitted to the Union. The amount shall be submitted no later than the 15th day of the month following the month in which the hours were worked.

The Employer shall also include with the remittance the number of employees for whom contributions have been made. iii The first deduction for the Fund will be made in the fifth (5th) week following the ratification of the Agreement. iv It is understood that participation in the program of deductions set out above is voluntary. Employees who do not wish to participate must so inform the Employer within thirty (30) days of the ratification of the Agreement or within thirty (30) days after being hired.

(SJF) The Employer agrees to pay a one (1) time lump sum payment of two hundred ($200.00) dollars for the purpose of contributing to the Unifor - Social Justice Fund for the lifetime of the collective agreement. Unifor Social Justice Fund. 35.01 The Unifor Social Justice Fund is an independent non-profit corporation and is an officially registered charitable foundation under the Income Tax Act. The Unifor Social Justice Fund is designed to aid in international development, through the relief of hunger, rebuilding programs, improved education, social infrastructures as well as encouraging self sufficiency. The Employer agrees to submit to the Unifor Social Justice Fund an amount equal to $19.50 annually for full-time employees and $12 annually for part-time employees in the bargaining unit who have consented to the deductions. The Union shall inform the Employer as to how it wishes the deductions to be made and how often. The Union will pass along the names of the union members participating in the fund at the beginning of each Collective Agreement. New hires shall be eligible to participate in the Fund.

And Unifor and its Local 144 The Company agrees to pay one thousand dollars ($1000.00) to the Unifor Social Justice Fund within thirty (30) calendar days of April 1, each year. The Fund is a registered non-profit charity, which contributes to Canadian and International non-partisan, non-governmental relief and development organizations. Such payment will be sent by the Company to: Unifor Social Justice Fund, 000 Xxxxxx Xxxxx, Xxxxxxx, Xxxxxxx X0X 0X0. LETTER OF AGREEMENT #5 – WOMEN’S ADVOCATE Between Princess Auto Ltd. And Unifor and its Local 144 The parties recognize that female employees may sometimes need to discuss with another woman matters such as violence or abuse at home or workplace harassment. They may also need to find out about specialized resources in the community such as counsellors or women’s shelters to assist them in dealing with these and other issues. For this reason, the parties agree to recognize that the role of women’s advocate in the workplace will be served by a woman from the bargaining unit who will work in counterpart with the Sr. Vice President of People Resources. The Women’s Advocate and the Sr. Vice President of People Resources will meet with female members as required, discuss problems with them and refer them to the appropriate agency when necessary. The Company agrees to establish a private cellular phone line, for the Sr. Vice President of People Resources, that female employees can phone. This line will be available for women to call at all times, including when the Sr. Vice President of People Resources is out-of-town. If the cellular phone is turned off due to meetings, etc. a voice mail message will be available in order that the call might be returned as quickly as possible. The Women’s Advocate and the Sr. Vice President of People Resources will develop appropriate communications to inform female employees about the advocacy role. The Women’s Advocate and the Sr. Vice President of People Resources will take appropriate training, when necessary. Such training will be at times and for a duration as agreed to by both parties.
Unifor Social Justice Fund. Dear Sirs: This will confirm the understanding reached by the parties with respect to the currency of the Collective Agreement dated the 25th day of February, 20 18, relating to the following issue: The Company will contribute one (1¢) cent per hour worked to the Unifor Social Justice Fund, and such contribution will be made for straight time hours worked only and will not be made for overtime hours or premium hours. Hours not worked, even though compensated in accordance with a specific provision of the Agreement and deemed to be hours worked for other purposes, shall not be considered to be hours worked for purposes of this Fund. Contributions to the fund will be made quarterly, in the middle of the month immediately following completion of each calendar quarter year, and such contributions remitted to the Unifor National Office.
