– UNIFORM ALLOWANCE AND MAINTENANCE. For a new employee to City service, the City will initially provide the following uniforms and equipment, which will then be maintained and replaced by the employee: • Two uniform shirts (1 Long Sleeve / 1 Short Sleeve) • Two uniform pants • Neck tie • Tie bar • Name Tag • Uniform belt • Duty belt (Excluding Dispatcher & Supp. Svc. Tech.) Employees shall be solely responsible for the purchase of non-listed items required to comply with the uniform policy such as t-shirts, socks and boots/footwear. If a new employee does not pass their initial probationary period and does not remain in City service, they shall return to the city all uniform items that were provided by the City upon hire. Upon approval of the Chief of Police, the City may replace uniform items damaged in the course and scope of an employee’s duties. The employee remains solely responsible for the replacement of uniforms due to normal wear and tear. The City will provide and maintain the following items for Police Officers: • Firearm • Ballistic vest • Flashlight • Handcuffs • Baton • Pepper spray For non-police officer classifications, the City will provide and maintain items required, as determined by the Chief of Police, for the assignment, such as a utility belt, handcuffs, etc.

  • Uniform Maintenance Allowance 22.1 The City provides uniforms or uniform allowance for employees represented by the Association. The City will continue to replace, repair and maintain uniforms worn in the line of duty. The average cost of the uniforms/uniform allowances are reported as special compensation (for those employees defined as “classic employees” by the Public Employees’ Pension Reform Act of 2013 for retirement calculation purposes and is currently reported as $17 per pay period.

  • Record Maintenance and Retention A. Grantee shall keep and maintain under GAAP or GASB, as applicable, full, true, and complete records necessary to fully disclose to the System Agency, the Texas State Auditor’s Office, the United States Government, and their authorized representatives all information required to determine compliance with the terms and conditions of this Grant Agreement and all state and federal rules, regulations, and statutes. Grantee shall ensure these same requirements are included in all subcontracts.

  • Operating and Maintenance Costs The Participating Generator shall be responsible for all its costs incurred in connection with operating and maintaining the Generating Units identified in Schedule 1 for the purpose of meeting its obligations under this Agreement.

  • Repairs and Maintenance The Tenant shall (a) take good care of the Apartment and all equipment and fixtures in it; (b) promptly make all necessary repairs and replacements whenever the need results from the Tenant's act of neglect or the neglect of Tenant’s family members, guests, visitors or contractors (if consented to by Landlord); (c) keep the Apartment and any other part of the building used by the Tenant as clean and safe as possible; and (d) promptly notify the Landlord when there are conditions which need repair. Tenant shall be responsible for reimbursing the Landlord for the cost of any repairs that are not "normal wear and tear" repairs, any such costs shall be considered additional rent; (e) shall not attach to, hang from or place anything on the railings of the patio or deck; and ( f ) Tenant agrees not to install any partition walls. No outside contractor is authorized to perform any services at the Apartment or apartment complex unless approved in writing by a representative of the Landlord. If Tenant contracts for any such services without written consent of the Landlord, Tenant shall be wholly responsible for the payment for any such service and shall hold the Landlord harmless against any claim made by a contractor who performs any such service at the request of the Tenant. Tenant shall also be responsible for returning the apartment back to its original condition, or else shall be liable to the Landlord for the costs incurred for the Landlord to do so after Tenant vacates.

  • Construction and Maintenance There are on-going maintenance, renovation and construction projects taking place in and around the residences. The work typically takes place during regular business hours, but may begin earlier or extend into evenings or weekends. On-going construction or renovation projects will continue through midterm and final exam periods. The University will take measures to ensure that prudent construction practices are followed, but there may be noise, dust and temporary interruption of some services. Residents may be required to temporarily or permanently relocate to facilitate construction or renovation to their residence area. There will be no compensation or reduction to your residence fees due to disruption and/or relocation.

  • Installation and Maintenance Except for the bi‐directional and production metering equipment owned by the City, all equipment on Customer’s side of the delivery point, including the required disconnect device, shall be provided and maintained in satisfactory operating condition by Customer and shall remain the property and responsibility of the Customer. The City will bear no responsibility for the installation or maintenance of Customer’s equipment or for any damage to property as a result of any failure or malfunction thereof. The City shall not be liable, directly or indirectly for permitting or continuing to allow the interconnection of the Facility or for the acts or omissions of Customer or the failure or malfunction of any equipment of Customer that causes loss or injury, including death, to any party.

  • Uniform Allowance Where uniforms are required, the Hospital shall either supply and launder uniforms or provide a uniform allowance of per year in a lump sum payment in the first pay period of November of each year.
