Utility Worker. One (1) employee per each Saturday and Sunday on a rotational basis, subject to operational needs and employee eligibility.
Utility Worker. (A) Utility Classification: Fifty percent (50%) of the Jour- xxxxxx wage rate.
(B) Health-Welfare & Dental the same as Journeyman.
(C) The time or hourly count shall start with the initial hire by any signatory Contractor and continue from that date forward regardless of the number of Contractors for whom that Employee has worked.
(D) 1st Year: Wage, plus H & W, RCD equals Total Pack- age. (No Vacation, Pension or Training.)
(E) After twelve (12) months or twelve hundred (1200) hours worked, whichever comes first, Vacation, RCD, H & W, Pension and Training contributions shall be made the same as for Journeyman.
(F) The employer agrees not to discriminate among Em- ployees on the basis of Pension, Vacation and Training contribution eligibility.
Utility Worker. Section 11.1. Utility Workers will be allowed to perform all phases of work covered under Article 1, Section 1.6 of the Agreement with the exception of installation. No Util- ity Worker may install materials or perform work normally
Section 11.2. Rules governing the employment of Utility Workers shall be the same as for all other Exterior/Interior Specialist employees under Article 2 of the Agreement.
Section 11.3. The employer may employ one (1) Utility Worker for five (5) or more regular employees. No employ- er shall employ more than two (2) Utility Workers regardless of the number of employees working for them without the approval of the Union. No employer shall employ a Utility Worker if the Union or the Labor-Management Committee finds such employment detrimental to the Apprenticeship Program.
Section 11.4. Utility Workers, with a minimum of one thou- sand (1000) hours of employment, may be granted direct entry into the Exterior and Interior Specialist Apprenticeship Program.
Section 11.5. Utility workers shall be permitted to install in- sulation and other duties as prescribed as utility work in the Exterior/Interior Specialist Contract.
(A) All tools that may be required for such installation shall be supplied by the employer.
(B) A Utility Worker shall not be permitted to use power tools, with exception of installation of insulation under the terms of this section.
(C) The employer shall be granted two (2) utility workers per job, but shall not employ more than six (6) per com- pany without the approval of the Union, for installing insulation only.
(D) Additional utility workers on a per job basis may be applied for through the Business Representative, who shall have the right to grant or deny any request.
(E) All utility workers shall be hired only from the out-of- work list of the Pacific Northwest Regional Council of Carpenters Central Dispatch office (000) 000-0000 or (000) 000-0000.
(F) All utility workers installing insulation shall be dis- patched on a job-by-job basis.
(G) Exterior/Interior Utility Workers wage & fringe rate in accordance with Schedule “A”.
Utility Worker. An employee engaged in performing a wide variety of unskilled and semi-skilled work. The employee’s duties include installation, construction, maintenance and repair of City facilities and property. The employee will be required to operate equipment such as forklift, brush chipper, portable power tools and drive a truck hauling a load or towing a trailer of no more than six thousand (6000)
Utility Worker. An employee whose principal duties consist of semi-skilled work while assisting a higher classified employee. Utility Workers assist in construction and maintenance and other miscellaneous semi-skilled work. With adequate training and under direction, may be required to: use hand tools, portable power tools, pavement breakers, spaders, tampers or compactors for work not requiring precision; perform pipe wrapping duties. A Utility Worker in Line Department may be permitted to learn to climb on the job in training for advancement, but shall not do line work. Class C Driver’s license required LA R2-93-39. Utility Worker. Persons who do only cleaning and incidental work. This person shall not use any of the tools of our trade, or perform any of the tasks of our trade, with the exception of scaling, covering, dusting, scaffolding, truck driving, and shop cleaning. Utility Worker will not engage in any work that involves hazardous or toxic materials. Minimum pay will be fifteen dollars ($15.00) per hour. The minimum pay shall comply with Washington State minimum wage laws. They will not pay dues check-off or be a member of the Union. Utility Workers will obtain a dispatch from the Local Union within three days of hire.
Utility Worker. The work of a Utility worker shall consist of washing, polishing, waxing and cleaning the interior and exterior, including washing aircraft dishes, of Company based tenants and transient aircraft; cleanliness and maintenance of offices (other than tenants), hangar area in and about the Company's facilities including removal of trash containers to and from assigned areas; washing and cleaning of mobile equipment and running of local errands as assigned. He will operate forklifts. He shall make Hotel Runs and/or miscellaneous crew and passenger transportation. He will also perform other tasks relative to his classification.
Utility Worker. (Beaches and Pools Division) An employee classified as Operations Worker III performing utility worker duties in the Beaches and Pools Division shall be paid as an Operations Worker IV from May 16 to September 15 for increased responsibilities.
Utility Worker. A worker whose duties shall include (but not be limited to) civil work, the cutting of brush, assisting in tree trimming, and the digging of holes and ditches.
