Uniforms Work Clothes. 10.01 Uniforms The Employer shall furnish and pay for uniform equipment for employees as required. The style and quantity of specific items shall be determined by the Employer. Such uniforms shall remain the property of the Employer. All uniform items, including shirts, shall be replaced on a one for one exchange basis only when deemed appropriate by management. The Employer shall direct the appropriate code of uniform dress. Items of equipment must be returned to the Employer upon termination of employment.

Uniforms Work Clothes. A. The Town agrees to provide uniforms to sergeant and patrol officers on an "as needed" basis. The Town agrees to replace uniforms on an "as needed" basis provided a list of uniform needs is presented to the Police Chief on September first (1st) of each year by the employees. The Town agrees that eyeglasses, dentures, contact lenses and hearing aids lost, damaged or destroyed while on duty are replaced/reimbursed per past practice.   • WORK CLOTHES The employer shall provide all necessary work clothes (coveralls, work shoes or equivalent, and insulated coveralls, winter coveralls and rain gear as needed), as well as safety equipment, including personal safety gear. Work clothes and safety gear provided by the company are the property of the company. When a new set of work clothes is provided, the worn set shall be handed in. Used safety equipment as mentioned above shall be properly cleaned before being reissued.

  • UNIFORMS & EQUIPMENT Uniforms and equipment required by the Department to be worn/used by employees will be furnished by the Department.

  • UNIFORMS AND SAFETY EQUIPMENT 21.1: The City will make a good faith effort to maintain police vehicles and safety equipment in proper working order. Police vehicles operated by the City shall comply with the standards and requirements of applicable State Statutes governing motor vehicle safety equipment.

  • WORK UNIFORMS Employees who are required to wear uniforms as a condition of employment shall be furnished such uniforms by the Appointing Authority. Proper maintenance of uniforms is an employee responsibility unless they are currently maintained by the Employer or unless required by statute or other regulatory agencies because of contamination (see Article 22). Uniforms shall not be used for off-duty activity by the employee.

  • WORK CLOTHING 1. The State shall continue to furnish foul weather gear and work clothing, such as aprons, smocks, shop coats, lab coats, coveralls and boots to employees furnished such clothing in the past. The State shall be responsible for continuing to provide laundering of work clothing where such service is being provided as of the effective date of this Agreement.
