Union-Administration Meetings. The Board and the Union encourage and favor periodic meetings between the Presidents of the respective Colleges and Union Chapter officers and similar meetings of the Chancellor and the executive officers of the Union to discuss mutual problems not concerned with specific grievances but with the overall relationships between the parties to this Agreement. At least one of these meetings shall be held each semester between the College President and his staff at each College and Union Chapter officers for the purpose of promoting better understanding of the Agreement. Similarly, at least one meeting shall be held each semester between the Chancellor and the executive officers of the Union to promote better understanding of the Agreement. Such meetings shall be arranged as required by applicable circumstances at the mutual convenience of the Board and Union representatives concerned. The Chancellor or his designee shall meet with no more than five representatives of the Union within twenty-four (24) hours at the request of either party to discuss matters relating to this Agreement. The President of each College and the Chapter Executive Committee shall meet within twenty-four (24) hours at the request of either party during the academic year to consult on questions relating to this Agreement. The Chancellor and the Union President shall meet on a regular basis once each month to discuss matters that are subject to collective bargaining and that will further the educational goals of the Colleges.

At least one of these meetings shall be held each semester for the purpose of promoting better understanding of the Agreement. Such meetings shall be arranged at the mutual convenience of the Board and Union representatives concerned. The President or his designee of each College and the Union shall meet with seven (7) school days notice at the request of either party to consult on mutual problems relating to this Agreement.
Union-Administration Meetings. The Superintendent and the Union President shall hold monthly meetings between September and May to exchange information and discuss items of mutual concern. The Superintendent and Union President shall exchange agenda items at least three (3) workdays prior to a scheduled meeting. More frequent meetings may be scheduled. If there are no items submitted for an agenda, the meeting shall be cancelled.
Union-Administration Meetings. Special meetings to discuss and dispose of problems, newly arisen or not specifically included in the Agreement, may be held whenever mutually agreed to between the officers of the MMEA and administrative representatives subject to the following stipulations: a. The MMEA will present their items for the written agenda to the Director of Human Resources at least forty-eight (48) hours in advance of the meeting. b. Only items on the agenda will be discussed. c. Meetings should not be regularly scheduled and should not be held more frequently than once each month. d. In meetings held during working hours, the MMEA may be represented by the President and three other MMEA officers. The names of the MMEA officers who will be attending the meeting shall be submitted along with the written agenda information. Issues or subjects discussed or resolved at the Union-Administration meetings shall not be binding, establish policy, or recognize past practice until agreed to in writing as provided for in this agreement under Article 1, Section 2--Recognition-Association.

  • Union/Management Meetings ‌ The Union Committee and the Senior Union Official of the Union, or her/his representative, shall, as occasion warrants, meet with the Committee on Labour Relations for the purpose of discussing and negotiating a speedy settlement of any grievance or dispute arising between the Employer and the employee concerned, including possible re-negotiations relative to this Agreement and the Schedules which are a part hereof. However, except for renegotiations of Agreements, these matters shall be introduced to such meetings only after the established grievance procedure has been followed. Grievances of a general nature may be initiated by a member of the Union Committee in step two of the grievance procedure outlined in Article 9.04.

  • Union Meetings The Employer recognizes the Union's interest in keeping its members informed and aware of its activities through regular union meetings. The Employer may approve the use of the agency facilities to hold union meetings. Union meetings, including general and/or committee(s) meetings, held on employer premises will not interfere with the operation of the Employer.

  • Association Meetings The Association shall have the right to use school facilities for meetings without cost after the regular students’ school day.

  • Labour Management Meetings The committee meeting shall normally be held every second month however, either party may call a meeting of the Joint Labour Management Committee. The meeting shall be held at a time and place fixed by mutual agreement but no later than fourteen (14) calendar days after the initial request, unless mutually agreed.

  • Union/Management Committee There shall be a union/management committee comprised of four (4) employee representatives appointed by the Union and four (4) employer representatives. The Committee's purpose is to provide and promote effective and meaningful communication of information and ideas and to make joint recommendations on matters of concern. Matters that are properly the subject of an individual grievance will not be discussed at this committee. The Committee will meet quarterly, unless agreed otherwise, at a time and place mutually agreed to provided there is business for their joint consideration. The parties will exchange agenda items at least one (1) week prior to the meeting. The parties further agree the Committee may meet at any time its members mutually agree a meeting should be held. The duties of the Chairperson will be shared by the parties. Copies of the minutes shall be provided to Committee members. The employer agrees to pay for time spent during regular working hours for representatives of the union attending such meetings. The parties may utilize video or teleconferencing services for the purposes of committee members attending committee meetings, where appropriate and available. Neither party can unreasonably deny an initiative to utilize video or teleconferencing services.

  • Open Meetings (a) All scheduled meetings of the Employer shall be open meetings, except in those cases where personnel, financial or other matters require that the meeting be considered confidential. (b) In those cases where a meeting is designated confidential, the Union shall be provided with a reason for such designation. (c) A designated member of the Union shall be provided a copy of the agenda and minutes of all open meetings. (d) Notwithstanding 18.04(b), any faculty member may request that an Union representative attend as an observer at meetings where the faculty member reasonably believes their working conditions under Article 12 will be affected. Management will be notified by the Union in advance of the meeting regarding their attendance at the meeting.

  • Labour Management Relations Committee In recognition of the mutual benefits of open communications and on-going consultation between the faculty and the employer, the Labour/Management Relations Committee will meet on a regular basis and have equal representation for the Union and the Employer. The LMRC will serve as an open forum for the free and candid discussion of matters of mutual concern to faculty members and management.

  • Labour Management Committee (a) Where the parties mutually agree that there are matters of mutual concern and interest that would be beneficial if discussed at a Labour Management Committee Meeting during the term of this Agreement, the following shall apply. (b) An equal number of representatives of each party as mutually agreed shall meet at a time and place mutually satisfactory. A request for a meeting hereunder will be made in writing prior to the date proposed and accompanied by an agenda of matters proposed to be discussed, which shall not include matters that are properly the subject of grievance or negotiations for the amendment or renewal of this agreement. Any representative(s) attending such meetings during their regularly scheduled hours of work shall not lose regular earnings as a result of such attendance. (c) It is agreed that the topic of a rehabilitation program for drug and alcohol abuse is an appropriate topic for the Labour-Management Committee. It is also agreed that the topic of the utilization of full-time and part-time staff is an appropriate topic for the Labour-Management Committee. The committee shall have access to work schedules and job postings upon request. (d) It is understood that joint meetings with other Labour-Management Committees in the Hospital may be scheduled concerning issues of mutual interest if satisfactory to all concerned. (e) Where two or more agreements exist between a Hospital and CUPE the Committee may be a joint one representing employees under both agreements, unless otherwise agreed.

  • Management meetings 31.1 Either the Engineer or the Contractor may require the other to attend a management meeting. The business of a management meeting shall be to review the plans for remaining work and to deal with matters raised in accordance with the early warning procedure. 31.2 The Engineer shall record the business of management meetings and is to provide copies of his record to those attending the meeting and to the Employer. The responsibility of the parties for actions to be taken is to be decided by the Engineer either at the management meeting or after the management meeting and stated in writing to all who attended the meeting.

  • Negotiation Meetings The first bargaining session shall be held at a mutually agreed time and date within fourteen (14) days of the request. All proposals by the parties shall be written and submitted to the representative(s) of both teams at the first meeting. No additional items shall be submitted by either party following the first meeting, unless mutually agreed by the parties. Additional ground rules, if any, will be established at the first meeting. Bargaining sessions shall not be scheduled during the regular teacher workday. Time and dates as used in this Article may be changed by mutual agreement.
