Use of City Vehicle. When an employee, not assigned a take-home vehicle, is required to transport a witness(es) to a Court appearance, start of overtime is generally when the employee checks out the vehicle. If this employee also provides transportation for other employees, the start and end of overtime for employees who are provided transportation shall be the same as specified in Article 4.3.D.
Use of City Vehicle. Public Works Supervisors, at the direction of the Department Director, will be allowed to take a City vehicle home in emergency conditions.
Use of City Vehicle. Any Employee reporting directly to a jobsite may take a City vehicle home when assigned by their supervisor.
Use of City Vehicle. Employees may take City vehicles home when assigned by their supervisor. Use of City vehicles must confirm to the City’s Vehicle Use Policy. Departments using Class 7501 Environmental Service Worker shall maintain the level of Class 7514 Laborer and Class 3417 Gardener staffing as existed at the start of the program and this level shall be maintained throughout the use of Class 7501 Environmental Service Worker. Departments shall provide thirty (30) days’ notice to the Union prior to discontinuing the use of Class 7501 Environmental Service Worker.
Use of City Vehicle. The City agrees to allow all currently represented classified positions covered by this agreement (Police Captain and Police Lieutenant) the use of department vehicles, as practiced on the date the MOU was adopted by the City Council for FY 91-92, as they are expected to respond to emergencies. During the term of this contract the Police Chief and members of this Association shall meet and confer on the development of a specific policy related to City Vehicle Use.
Use of City Vehicle. The City will provide the option of using a designated City vehicle while an employee is in an "on‐call" status. The use of the designated City vehicle for on‐call responses will follow the conditions set forth in the City Vehicle Use Policy within the City of Xxxxxx Island Employee Handbook.
Use of City Vehicle. Section 1. At the discretion of the Supervisor, employees may drive city vehicles to and from their residences, located within 15 (fifteen) miles of the City of Missoula limits, unless otherwise approved by the Department Director or designee to facilitate efficiency in accommodation of inspection requests for; • early-in-day inspections – those inspections performed prior to arrival at office / between residence and office • late-in-day inspections – those inspections performed after departure from office / between office and residence This inspection flexibility provides for saving time (elimination of dead-head driving), impacts to fossil fuels (reduced carbon footprint), responsiveness to contractor (citizen) demand / requests and staff productivity.

Use of City Vehicle. At the discretion of the Department Director, a AFSCME / Local 1 employee may be assigned a City vehicle for job related duties during regular working hours. Only in emergency conditions will an employee be allowed to take a City vehicle home and only with prior approval of the Department Director.
