VACATIONS - Eligibility. Bargaining unit members employed on a 12-month basis shall receive paid vacation time. Said vacation time may be used by eligible bargaining unit members at times of the bargaining unit member's own choosing subject only to the condition where more than one bargaining unit member requests the same vacation date(s) and work scheduling demands reasonably prohibit all requesting bargaining unit members from being absent at the requested times. In such instances, the affected bargaining unit member having the greatest seniority shall be granted his/her preferred vacation date(s). Said vacation will be scheduled with administration at least two (2) weeks in advance, if possible, when students are not in attendance. VACATIONS - Eligibility. Members of the bargaining unit who are employed for twelve (12) months per year shall annually be eligible for paid vacation as follows: After 1 year of employment ten (10) times the contracted daily hours (July 1 – June 30). (Example: a 6.5 hour employee would receive 65 Vacation Leave hours per year). After 5 years of employment fifteen (15) times the contracted daily hours (July 1 – June 30). (Example: a 6.5 hour employee would receive 97.5 Vacation Leave hours per year). After 10 years of employment twenty (20) times the contracted daily hours (July 1 – June 30). (Example: a 6.5 hour employee would receive 130 Vacation Leave hours per year). After 15 years of employment twenty-five (25) times the contracted daily hours (July 1 – June 30). (Example: a 6.5 hour employee would receive 162.5 Vacation Leave hours per year).

Employees who sever their employment with the School District and return to the bargaining unit at a later date shall not be given credit for service prior to the last date of hire. (b) Any employee who has worked for the Hamtramck Public Schools one (1) year or more, shall be paid for earned vacation time at the time of separation. A month worked shall mean a calendar month in which the employee has worked at least eleven (11) days within that calendar month. (c) After an employee has worked for the Hamtramck Public Schools one (1) year or more, his earned vacation time shall not be reduced because he was absent from his assigned duties due to illness.

  • Vacation Eligibility Subject to the provisions of Sections 3., 4., 8., and 9. hereof, vacations with pay shall be granted during the vacation year to each employee, except upon dismissal for misconduct, who shall have completed a period of six (6)-months’ employment since date of engagement or reengagement, whichever is later, and who has performed work for the Company within the vacation year, as follows: a.   • Overtime Eligibility An Employee must work at least fifteen (15) minutes beyond her normal shift before being eligible for overtime compensation.

  • Employee Eligibility For purposes of this section, “eligible employee” shall be defined by the Public Employees’ Medical and Hospital Care Act.

  • Benefit Eligibility For purposes of the Benefit Plan entitlement, common-law and same sex relationships will apply as defined.

  • Dependent Eligibility For all programs covered in this article, eligible dependents are an employee’s lawful spouse or domestic partner (as defined by Section 297 of the California Family Code), and unmarried children (natural, step, adopted, legal guardianship, and/or xxxxxx) of the employee or domestic partner, who are qualified IRS dependents of the employee or domestic partner, up to twenty-three (23) years of age. Disabled dependents may be able to continue coverage beyond the limiting age if the disability occurred while the dependent was covered under a County-sponsored medical plan or prior to the dependent’s 19th birthday, and is certified by a licensed physician.

  • Holiday Eligibility Except as otherwise provided in this Article, an employee must be in paid status on the working day immediately preceding or succeeding the holiday to be paid for the holiday.

  • Overtime-Eligible Employees Employees who are covered by the overtime provisions of state and federal law.

  • Sick Leave Payout No cash payment for unused sick leave will be paid to any employee leaving the service of the Employer.

  • Verification of Employment Eligibility By executing this Agreement, Consultant verifies that it fully complies with all requirements and restrictions of state and federal law respecting the employment of undocumented aliens, including, but not limited to, the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986, as may be amended from time to time, and shall require all subconsultants and sub-subconsultants to comply with the same.
