Volunteer List. At the beginning of each school year, the site administrator shall ask all certificated staff at the site if they wish to be called to substitute during their preparation period and shall develop a list of volunteer certificated employees.

Volunteer List. Employer will maintain a monthly list of volunteers based on seniority for purposes of alleviating any increased work load due to absences of any nature. In the event that two employees on the list have refused to work such additional hours, management may utilize whatever method it deems necessary to attempt to fill the absence. 8.10.1.1 It is understood that employees who sign the list for extra work will be expected to work when called. Volunteer List. 305 (1) Each operation will establish a list of employees who have agreed to work Saturday premium pay assignments scheduled under Letter 16 of the Main Labor Agreement. When there is an insufficient number of employees who accept scheduled Saturday premium pay assignments within a department, employees on the volunteer list who are qualified to perform such work will be asked to work such scheduled Saturday premium pay assignment. 306 (2) All employees within the bargaining unit will be given the opportunity to enter their names on the volunteer list. The volunteer list will be revised and reissued on the second Monday of each month. Employees may remove their names from the volunteer list by notifying the Company in writing on a form to be provided by the Company. Removal from the volunteer list will be effective with the first volunteer list issued one (1) week after such form is received in the Employment Office. 307 Employees on layoff from the bargaining unit who are ineligible for or have exhausted their benefit eligibility under the Supplemental Unemployment Benefit Plan will be given an opportunity to join the volunteer list. Such employees will receive an application by mail and will have their names entered on and/or leave the volunteer list within the same time limits as outlined in this Section (2). 308 Employees hired after the date of this Agreement will have their names entered automatically on the volunteer list and may withdraw their names from the list as outlined in this Section (2). 309 The Chairman of the Grievance Committee will be provided five (5) copies of the volunteer list. 310 (3) When Saturday work is scheduled under the provisions of Letter 16, employees in the department will be offered the opportunity to work under the provisions of Article XIII, Section 7. Volunteer List. The Employer will maintain a volunteer list for use in filling extra shifts available under Section 14.8. Employees must sign up for the list in writing, and will be provided an opportunity to sign up each quarter. Employees will be listed by seniority within each classification within the list. When a shift is filled using the volunteer list, the Employer will offer the shift to the Employee at top of the list in the sought classification 1) in person at work or 2) by telephone call to the number provided by the Employee on the volunteer list. If the Employee either refuses the shift or is not available when called, the Employer will offer the shift to the remaining Employees on the list in order until the shift is filled. If no Employee in the relevant store is available when called, the Employer may offer the shift to qualified Employees from other stores in order of seniority. If an Employee refuses a shift offered to him or her pursuant to this Section three times, he or she will be moved to the bottom of the list for his or her classification regardless of seniority.
Volunteer List. (1) Every Monday morning a volunteer list will be compiled with every officer up by seniority. This list will be utilized through the week. The last caller to utilize the existing list will be the Sunday 12-8 caller who will use it for volunteers needed on the 8-4 shift (2) An officer who receives an overtime off of the volunteer list will be flipped and his/her name will be taken off of the volunteer list and remain so through the week. (3) In the event that no officer up on the volunteer list elects to volunteer, then an officer who wants to work but who has been flipped off the volunteer list will be given the opportunity to select an overtime. (4) In the event that a post is open that requires special training and no officer is up on the volunteer list that is qualified, but there are officers who are up and want to work, the caller is to try to find someone on the schedule for that shift that is qualified and the caller will request that officer to fill the specialized post. If this can be done, then the spot which opens will be offered to the next officer up on the volunteer list.
