Volunteer Opportunities. A. Volunteers shall not do work normally assigned to bargaining unit members. No volunteer shall be engaged in activities which result in the replacement of currently employed workers (including reduction of hours); nor shall any volunteer prevent the employment of persons who would otherwise be hired.
B. If volunteers are involved in activities that require additional supervision by District employees (so long as that additional supervision is not part of the employee’s normal work assignment), that employee shall be able to choose whether or not to provide the additional supervision to the volunteer.
C. Volunteers wishing to complete a project that would normally be assigned to bargaining unit members shall follow the Volunteer and Community Support Program process in accordance with Spokane Public Schools Policy and Procedure #9295.

Volunteer Opportunities. Volunteers can clean and refurbish the animal kennels, brush the animals, pet and play with the dogs and puppies, cats and kittens, walk the dogs, make flyers to publicize potential adoptions, supply clean towels, contribute kitty toys, furnish pet treats, make financial donations, and provide support in other ways with the approval and agreement of the staff.
Volunteer Opportunities. All volunteer sign-up opportunities will take place on our team website to receive service credit. All volunteers are responsible for signing in at MMSC hosted events at the clerk of the course table with the meet director to receive credit for hours worked. Volunteers who work at other events (another clubs swim meet as a timer) are responsible for notifying the Treasurer of the hours worked. All volunteer hours are recorded and tracked on our website. Each family has access to their own account and can monitor their volunteer hours at any time.

According to ARS § 13-3716, it is unlawful for a person who has been convicted of a dangerous crime against children, as defined in Section 13-604.01, to fail to give notice of the fact of the conviction to the school when applying to volunteer. In addition to fingerprinting, background checks will be conducted by the District Office and kept in school volunteer files.

Volunteer Opportunities. At St. Xxxx of Arc School many hands are needed to assist with the daily operation of the school and its financial feasibility. Opportunities include: cafeteria helpers, fundraising, PTO events, Santa’s Workshop elves, Walk-A-Thon and Field Day volunteers and maintenance and trade workers. For the 2021-2022 academic year each family must volunteer 10 hours of service during the course of the school year. We understand that some parents may be unable to do so at this time. In lieu of service a monetary donation of $100.00 ($10.00 per hour) will be required by the end of the year, you may send it now with registration papers. Volunteering is a great way to meet and connect with other families. Joining with other parents and students forms a good community for your family.
