Wage Rate Upon Promotion. 1304 An employee who is promoted within the same job family will be placed on the wage structure as follows:
Wage Rate Upon Promotion a. The employee who is promoted will be placed in the new step range at a point that will assure an increase in wages and will continue to advance through the new step range on the employee’s anniversary date. Anniversary date shall mean date on which the employee was hired, so long as there is continuous service with the Hospital from that date.
Wage Rate Upon Promotion. An employee transferring into a new classification shall do so without loss of seniority. Credit for the employee’s relevant past experience shall be in the judgment of the employer.

The next step increase after a promotion shall occur after the completion of twelve (12) months and 2080 hours per the definition of month and year in Section 2.10 from the effective the beginning of the pay period following the effective date of the promotion. Wage Rate Upon Promotion. An Employee who is promoted from one labor grade will be advanced to the rate which is equal to the wage seniority level of the Employee's lower labor grade. In the event an Employee is promoted to a labor grade two or more grades above his/her existing labor grade, the Employee will be advanced to the rate which is equal to or next above a one labor grade promotion explained in the foregoing sentence.
