Work of Bargaining Unit. Employees who are not in the bargaining unit shall not perform work normally performed by employees in the bargaining unit if such performance directly causes or results in layoff or reduction in the normal hours of work or reduction of benefits to employees in the bargaining unit.
Work of Bargaining Unit. 23.01 Sales Supervisors, Sales Representatives and Sales Execution Specialists will continue to perform all work and duties as they have in the past provided however, that such activities shall not be extended by the Company so as to cause the layoff of any regular employee or deprive a regular hourly employee of overtime to which they would otherwise be entitled.
Work of Bargaining Unit. Persons whose positions are excluded from the bargaining unit shall not permanently fill any positions which are presently filled by members of the bargaining unit, nor be used to displace or reduce the hours of work of members of the bargaining unit.
Work of Bargaining Unit. Non-union management employees whose jobs are not in the Bargaining Unit shall not be assigned and/or perform work which is included in the Bargaining Unit except in cases of instruction, emergency or when mutually agreed upon in writing by both parties.
Work of Bargaining Unit. 24.01 Plant Supervisors will not normally perform work customarily performed by employees in the bargaining unit, except:
(a) as a result of urgent or emergency conditions,
(b) for the purposes of demonstration or training,
(c) to occasionally relieve an employee for a short period, or
(d) when a regular employee is not available due to being late for work or absent from work and a suitable replacement is not available.
24.02 Sales Supervisors, Sales Representatives and Sales Execution Specialists shall continue to perform their normal sales and merchandising activities; provided, however, that such activities shall not be extended by the Company so as to cause the layoff of any regular employee.
24.03 The Company agrees that if the contracting out of any work normally performed by employees in the Bargaining Unit will result in the layoff of any regular full- time employee, the Company will meet with the Union to discuss ways and means of reducing the impact of such change on the employee(s) to be affected.
Work of Bargaining Unit.
8.01 Those persons excluded from the terms of this Agreement shall not be permitted to perform any bargaining unit work except in the following types of situations:
(a) In an emergency.
(b) When qualified employees are not readily available.
(c) On experimental work.
(d) In the instruction or training of employees, including demonstrating the proper method to accomplish the task assigned. Notwithstanding the aforementioned language, it is understood and agreed that nursing home construction/maintenance/equipment retrofits are not considered work of the bargaining unit.
8.02 So long as a full-time position exists there will be no splitting of that position into two or more part-time positions without the agreement of the Union, such agreement not to be unreasonably withheld.

(d) when a regular employee is not available due to being late for work or absent from work and a suitable replacement is not available.
19.02 The Union recognizes that the Company is operating in a highly competitive and ever changing market. This market requires a continuous search for improvement in the ways in which the Company does business and services its customers. Where the search for such improvements results in the contracting out of work and thereby the termination of any regular employee(s) in the bargaining unit, such employee(s) may then elect to (a) exercise any rights available to them under this Collective Agreement, or (b) resign and receive a severance entitlement of one and one-half (1.5) weeks basic pay per completed year of service (calculated to the latest completed month of service), to a maximum of 52 weeks or age 65, whichever occurs first.
Work of Bargaining Unit. 5:01 Employees whose jobs are not in the bargaining unit shall not work on any other jobs which are included in the bargaining unit, except for the purpose of instruction, assessment, in emergencies or when regular employees are not available and provided that the performing of the aforementioned operations, in itself, does not cause the lay- off or a reduction in the regular hours of work of any employee in the bargaining unit.
