Transfer Out of the Bargaining Unit. The seniority of an employee transferred to a position outside the bargaining unit shall continue to accumulate for a period of twelve (12) months, at which time seniority accumulated shall be maintained.
Transfer Out of the Bargaining Unit. (a) If an Employee transfers to a temporary assignment outside of the bargaining unit not exceeding six (6) months’ duration, she shall continue to accumulate seniority, service and benefits during this period and will be returned to a position in the bargaining unit without loss of seniority, service or benefits. Upon mutual agreement of the parties, the period of temporary assignment may be extended. No Employee shall be transferred to a position outside the bargaining unit without her consent.
(b) If an Employee transfers to a permanent position outside the bargaining unit, she shall retain her seniority accumulated up to the date of leaving the bargaining unit, but will not accumulate any further seniority. An Employee shall have the right to return to her position or equivalent, in this bargaining unit with no loss of rank, seniority or benefits within six (6) months of leaving the bargaining unit or such other period as may be mutually agreed between the parties and confirmed in writing.
(c) During a temporary assignment of six (6) months or less, an Employee shall continue to pay union dues.
Transfer Out of the Bargaining Unit. (a) A Radiation Therapist may transfer to a temporary assignment outside the bargaining unit for a period of up to twelve (12) months. The Radiation Therapist shall maintain the seniority held at the time of transfer until such time as the Radiation Therapist returns to the bargaining unit at which time seniority accrual shall recommence. Benefit plans shall be maintained for the period. It is understood that the Radiation Therapist will not have dues deducted during the time spent out of the bargaining unit. The Radiation Therapist must return to the Bargaining Unit by the twelve
Transfer Out of the Bargaining Unit. (a) An employee who is transferred to a position outside of the bargaining unit for a period of not more than three (3) months, or is seconded to teach for an academic year shall not suffer any loss of seniority, service or benefits. An employee who is transferred to a position outside of the bargaining unit for a period of more than three (3) months, but not more than one (1) year shall retain, but not accumulate, their seniority held at the time of the transfer. In the event the employee is returned to a position in the bargaining unit, they shall be credited with seniority held at the time of transfer and resume accumulation from the date of their return to the bargaining unit. An employee must remain in the bargaining unit for a period of at least three (3) months before transferring out of the bargaining unit again or they will lose all seniority held at the time of the subsequent transfer.
Transfer Out of the Bargaining Unit. A Nurse who is transferred to a temporary position outside of the bargaining unit for a period of not more than six (6) months shall not suffer any loss of seniority, service or benefits. A Nurse who is transferred to a position outside of the bargaining unit for a period of more than six (6) months shall lose all seniority held at the time of the transfer. Six (6) month period may be extended upon mutual written agreement by the parties. A Nurse must remain in the bargaining unit for a period of at least three (3) months before transferring out of the bargaining unit again or she or he will lose all seniority held at the time of the subsequent transfer.
Transfer Out of the Bargaining Unit. (a) If an Employee transfers to a temporary assignment outside of the bargaining unit not exceeding six (6) months’ duration, she shall continue to accumulate seniority, service and benefits during this period and will be returned to a position in the bargaining unit without loss of seniority, service or benefits. Upon mutual agreement of the parties, the period of temporary assignment may be extended. No Employee shall be transferred to a position outside the bargaining unit without her consent, except in the case of temporary assignments not exceeding six (6) months.
(b) If an Employee transfers to a permanent position outside the bargaining unit, she shall retain her seniority accumulated up to the date of leaving the bargaining unit, but will not accumulate any further seniority. In the event the Employee subsequently returns to the bargaining unit at some later date, provided that the Employee’s service has remained continuous and unbroken, the Employee will be credited with his previously accrued seniority upon completion of a further period of probation as provided under Article 11.01 (b) above.
(c) During a temporary assignment of six (6) months or less, an Employee shall continue to pay Union dues.
Transfer Out of the Bargaining Unit. An employee who transfers to a position outside of the bargaining unit for a period of up to twelve (12) months shall retain but not accumulate bargaining unit seniority while in that position. Any extension to such transfer will be negotiated by the parties and shall not be unreasonably denied. An employee will only be covered for a subsequent transfer out of the bargaining unit if in the interim she had returned to and worked in a bargaining unit position for at least the same duration as her previous assignment outside the bargaining unit
Transfer Out of the Bargaining Unit. An employee who transfers to a position outside of the bargaining unit for a period of up to twelve (12) months shall retain but not accumulate bargaining unit seniority while in that position. For the purpose of back filling pregnancy/parental leave only an employee may transfer to a position outside the bargaining unit for a period of up to twenty (20) months. Any extension to such transfer will be negotiated by the parties and shall not be unreasonably denied. An employee will only be covered for a subsequent transfer out of the bargaining unit if in the interim she had returned to and worked in a bargaining unit position for at least the same duration as her previous assignment outside the bargaining unit.
Transfer Out of the Bargaining Unit. Any employee who is transferred out of the bargaining unit covered by this Agreement, but who continues as an employee of the Sheriff's Department, shall retain his seniority within his job classification in the Sheriff's Department in the event he is returned by the County to the bargaining unit covered by this agreement. Provided, however, such employee shall not accumulate seniority while he is out of the bargaining unit.
Transfer Out of the Bargaining Unit. Promotions to positions outside of the bargaining unit are not subject to the provisions of this Agreement, but should any employee who has been so promoted be transferred back to a job within the bargaining unit, he will be credited with his former seniority, and in addition shall accumulate seniority while in the transferred position outside the bargaining unit, for a period of six (6) months. An employee so transferred back into the bargaining unit within the six (6) month period will be returned to the job he held prior to his transfer out, providing he still has the qualifications and such job still exists. An employee in a job outside of the bargaining unit for a period of six (6) consecutive months will have no seniority rights under this Agreement.
