Xxxx Safety Sample Clauses

Xxxx Safety. (a) Every Student is required to attend a Fire Drill and/or such Emergency Procedures Briefing (to be arranged by the Manager, giving the students 7 days’ notice where reasonably possible). If any Student fails to attend such a drill/briefing, they shall be subject to a fine and it may be treated as a disciplinary matter.

Xxxx Safety. The National Road Safety Strategy 2021-2030 is owned by Infrastructure and Transport Minister, representing all jurisdictions together with the Australian Local Government Association representing the local government sector. The Strategy articulates responsibilities for all levels of government and aims to demonstrate that zero deaths and serious injuries on our roads can be achieved. The National Strategy targets are that by 2030: • The annual number of fatalities will be reduced by at least 50%, or approximately 55% of rate per capita • The annual number of serious injuries will be reduced by at least 30%, or approximately 38% of rate per capita Road safety improvements implemented during past decades did reduce trauma on WA roads; however, WA’s trend for reductions in death and serious injury is starting to plateau. Notably, for the six-year period 2016-2021 just over 50% (461) of WA road fatalities occurred on local roads in WA. Therefore, the National and State targets will only be achieved with practical and tangible actions to improve road safety on the entire WA road network. Within the first two years of this Agreement Main Roads, WALGA and RRGs will collaborate to establish a system(s) / process(s) for monitoring, reporting, and advancing Safe System treatments and a Safe Systems approach focusing, but not limited to, LGA works funded within this Agreement. Based on the above work the parties will work to determine and, where practical, implement the next steps to further advance Road Safety.
Xxxx Safety. Owner shall make available to Tenant a reasonable number of points of connection for a standard office installation to the base Building Class E fire alarm, sprinkler and life safety system installed in core areas of the Building.
Xxxx Safety. Tenant (or Contractor) shall employ the services of a fire and life-safety subcontractor reasonably satisfactory to Landlord for all fire and life-safety work at the Building.
Xxxx Safety. Lithium-ion battery technology is the current choice for deployment in utility and industrial systems. Figure 2 shows the structure of a typical lithium-ion cell; the direction of the flow of ions and electrons is shown with the battery discharging. Lithium-ion battery chemistry offers several advantages over other types of energy storage and battery chemistry for grid and industrial system applications, the main ones being low losses, (relatively) low cost per megawatt-hour and the widespread availability in the sizes (1–50 MWh) being considered. Lithium-ion batteries have an associated inherent risk of thermal runaway. To evaluate the risks, a coarse hazard identification (HAZID) was undertaken that was initially agnostic to battery chemistry. This identified the following safety risks associated with the use of a large XXXX in an LNG plant: thermal runaway, toxicity, flammable gases, electrocution and arc flash. The electrocution and arc flash risks associated with large battery systems are familiar to electrical engineers, as most sites have uninterruptible power supply units connected to large batteries. The major difference is the number of battery cells involved and, therefore, the potential fault current that would flow. There are some industry standards to reflect the phenomena associated with DC arcs and to calculate the arc flash incident energy. The risk of thermal runaway was analysed by reviewing available test results and literature and by evaluating vendors’ protection systems. The conclusion was that the risk associated with a XXXX can be mitigated to as low as reasonably practicable. Measures for avoiding thermal runaway and fire include the design of the battery cell, module and rack layout, and the battery management system. Some scenarios, such as a battery internal short circuit, an external short caused by water or liquid or external heat input, cannot be mitigated by the battery management system. Although such scenarios have a low incident frequency, the battery module design needs to ensure that a thermal runaway in a single cell does not propagate to adjacent cells or modules and subsequently a whole rack or container. The UL 9540A test method and IEC 62619:2017 standard describe methods to test and validate this and should be included in the project specification. In a thermal runaway situation, flammable and toxic gases are released that could lead to an explosion or fire and/or affect human health. The risk can be partly mitig...

Xxxx Safety. Smoking, using shisha or electronic cigarettes are strictly forbidden inside the building. Tenants can not take or store flammable materials, can not do or allowed to their guests' activities that increase the risk of fire. Tenants can not break the fire safety rules. The restriction detailed rules are written in the Fire safety instructions. Tenants who stay in the Building need to assure the free transport at the places where they live and what they use daily. Leaving your belongings (e.g. trash, drying rack, furniture) on the corridors is strictly forbidden, anything left there can be removed by the hostel workers. The fire alarms and fire extinguishers can not be barricaded and can not be used unreasonably. Everybody must require the rules written in the Fire safety instructions and the Fire safety plans. These instructions have been described to the tenant by the Operator. The Operator reserves the right to empty the Building to practice the „fire safety practising". When the fire alarm starts, everyone has to leave the building immediately. The usage of open flames and smoking are strictly prohibited in the whole building! Smoking is only allowed in the designated areas. Violating this rule is a serious disciplinary offence and may entail a fine of 50.000 HUF and dismissal from the Dormitory! Starting the fire alarm unreasonably is strictly prohibited! Violating the rule is a serious disciplinary offence and may entail a fine of 100.000 HUF and dismissal from the Dormitory!
