Xxxxxx Allowance. When Professional Staff members, regardless of their position at the College, are assigned by the appropriate administrator to work during scheduled registration periods beyond their normal work day or at college-related events, the College shall provide dinner, or at the option of the Professional Staff member, a $10.00 food allowance. This allowance shall be limited to no more than four (4) times per semester.

Xxxxxx Allowance. (a) City of Antioch shall purchase the service dogs and maintain ownership unless sold as set forth below. Any dogs sold shall be on an “as-is” basis with no warranties. The new purchaser of the dog shall then be responsible for all maintenance and care of the dog. (b) If after a minimum of four (4) years in assignment, or at any time when the service dog is deemed to be disabled to perform required police work, and is retired, the City of Antioch agrees to sell the service dog to the current handler for one dollar ($1.00) upon retirement from the unit at the handler’s option. (c) If the service dog is deemed to be unsuitable to perform and is removed from the canine unit, the City of Antioch at the sole discretion of the Chief of Police, may sell the service dog to the handler for one dollar ($1.00), but only after the service dog has been evaluated by two independent trainers; to determine if it presents a liability. The cost of this evaluation shall be assumed by the City of Antioch. The determination of whether a service dog is unsuitable to perform, as well as the determination of whether to sell it, shall be at the sole discretion of the Chief of Police. (d) If the service dog is still capable of performing police work and the handler leaves the unit between years one (1) and four (4), the City of Antioch at the sole discretion of the Chief of Police, may sell the service dog to the handler at a prorated cost to include the initial purchase of the service dog and basic handler’s course based on the following formula: Years one (1) to two (2): 100% Years two (2) to three (3): 60% Years three (3) to four (4): 40% (e) While the dog is in service for the City of Antioch, the handler shall be responsible for its care including food, grooming and veterinary care. City of Antioch shall pay monthly maintenance costs in the amount of one-hundred fifty dollars ($150.00) for food, grooming and other maintenance costs. City of Antioch shall also pay for reasonable veterinary costs. In determining the reasonableness of costs, consideration shall include, but is not limited to: nature of illness or injury, veterinarian’s prognosis, service life expectancy of the canine, and whether the illness or injury has been sustained on or off duty. Costs incurred will only be considered for “active” and “City Owned” service dogs. The Chief of Police has sole discretion at determining reasonableness. Xxxxxx Allowance. Members who are designated as canine officers shall be paid $7.00 per day as compensation for expenses associated with the care of their dog while at home. Such payment shall be made in installments on January 15 and July 15 of each year. In recognition of the fact that canine officers spend time caring for their dogs while at home, they will be required to be physically present at the police division for only 7.5 hours of their 8 hour shift.
Xxxxxx Allowance. In instances where the Company has not paid the Relocation Allowance and is relocating an employee, invoices are to be presented to the HR Manager for sign off of reimbursements to cover all other expenses related to the move including but not restricted to school uniforms, club fees, costs of breaking leases, etc. This allowance will be capped at $1000 net (to increase year on year by the salary percentage increase for that year) and any amount in addition to this by prior agreement. The employee is responsible for managing the recording and filing of relocation documentation eg expenses. The intent of this is for the Company to actively manage the reduction of impact on employees and families relocating between sites.

  • Car Allowance The Company shall provide the Executive an automobile allowance of $750 per month during the term of Executive’s employment hereunder.

  • Tool Allowance (a) A tool allowance as set in the relevant Wage Tables in Appendix A per week shall be paid for all purposes to:- (i) Electrical workers at Grade EW 5 and beyond; (ii) Electrical workers performing the duties of: (A) Television Antenna Installer/Erector; (B) Television/Radio/Electronic Equipment Servicemen; and (iii) Apprentices - Contained within the relevant Apprentice Wage Rates.

  • First Aid Allowance An employee who has been trained to render first aid and who is the current holder of appropriate first aid qualifications such as a certificate from the St. John's Ambulance or similar body shall be paid a weekly allowance of $11.50 if appointed by their employer to perform first aid duty.

  • Boot Allowance The District will pay $180 toward the purchase and/or repair of work boots for District Employees listed in the District’s Work Apparel Policy and/or at the discretion of the employee’s department manager. Payment will be made by the first full paycheck of the employee’s date of hire and annually thereafter. Boots must meet applicable OSHA standards for the duties assigned.

  • Expense Allowance The Company shall reimburse the Executive for all reasonable and necessary expenses incurred by him from time to time in the performance of his duties hereunder, against receipts therefor in accordance with the then effective policies and requirements of the Company.

  • Auto Allowance The Company shall provide to Executive a car allowance in an amount equal to $1,000 per month during the Employment Period.

  • Aid Allowance An employee who has been appointed by the Employer and trained to render first aid and who is the current holder of appropriate first aid qualifications such as a certificate from the St. Xxxx's Ambulance or similar body shall be paid weekly an allowance as detailed in Appendix A. The Employer will always appoint the appropriate number of First Aid Officers as required by relevant legislation and Code of Practice.

  • Meal Allowance A shift worker who works a qualifying shift of eight hours or the rostered shift, whichever is the greater, and who is required to work more than one hour beyond the end of the shift (excluding any break for a meal) shall be paid a meal allowance of $7.95, or, at the option of the employer, be provided with a meal.

  • Shift Allowance In addition to the wage specified in sub-clause (1), read with sub- clause (12), a normal shift worker shall, in respect of his shift hours worked in any week, be paid an additional 12,5% on such wage.

  • Training Allowance Operators who are required by the Employer to provide training to a specified level and to certify to the competency of the employees so trained shall receive twelve dollars ($12) per day while training. In such cases, the most senior qualified operator with the capability to provide training in the required class of equipment shall be given the opportunity to provide such training.
