Your Holiday Price. We reserve the right to alter the prices of any of the holidays shown in our brochure. You will be advised of the current price of the holiday that you wish to book before your contract is confirmed. When you make your booking you must pay a deposit of a minimum of £150 per person. Please note that increasingly many airfares and some other arrangements require full payment or a higher deposit at the time of booking, you will be advised at the time of booking if this is the case. Any deposit paid is non-refundable. The balance of the price of your travel arrangements must be paid at least 70 days before your departure date - note that some travel arrangements may require the balance to be paid earlier or in full at the time of booking and you will be advised at the time of booking if this is the case. If the deposit and/or balance is not paid in time, we shall cancel your travel arrangements and we shall retain your non-refundable deposit. Any monies you pay to a travel agent (where applicable) are held by the agent on our behalf at all times. If an element of your holiday is priced in a foreign currency the exchange rate used to convert to GBP will be shown on your booking confirmation. Changes in transportation costs, including the cost of fuel, dues, taxes or fees chargeable for services such as landing taxes or embarkation or disembarkation fees at ports and airports and exchange rates mean that the price of your travel arrangements may change after you have booked. In the event that there is an introduction of - or increase to - any government imposed fees (such as, but not limited to, Airline Passenger Duty or ’APD’ in the UK) we reserve the right to pass on increases in any such charges on to you. However, there will be no change and you will not be charged within 30 days of your departure. Apart from government imposed duties or fees above we will absorb and you will not be charged for any other increase equivalent to 2% of the price of your travel arrangements, which excludes insurance premiums and any amendment charges. You will be charged for the amount over and above that, plus an administration charge of £2.50 per person together with an amount to cover agents’ commission (if applicable). (b) When you make your booking you must pay the deposits shown in the applicable brochure. The balance of the price of your travel arrangements must be paid at least 90 days before your departure date. If the deposits and/or balance are not paid in time, we may cancel your travel arrangements. If the balance is not paid in time we shall retain your deposits. (c) Changes in the cost of fuel, dues, taxes or fees chargeable for services such as landing taxes or embarkation or disembarkation fees at ports and airports mean that the price of your travel arrangements may change after you have booked. However there will be no change within 30 days of your departure. We will also absorb and you will not be charged for any increase equivalent to 2% of the price of your travel arrangements, which excludes any amendment charges. You will be charged for the amount over and above that. If this means that you have to pay an increase of more than 10% of the price of your travel arrangements, you will have the option of accepting a change to another holiday if we are able to offer one (if this is of equivalent or higher quality you will not have to pay more but if it is of lower quality you will be refunded the difference in price), or cancelling and receiving a full refund of all monies paid, except for any amendment charges. Should you decide to cancel for this reason, you must exercise your right to do so within 14 days from the issue date printed on your final invoice. Should the price of your holiday go down due to the changes mentioned above, by more than 2% of your holiday cost, then any refund due will be paid to you. However, please note that travel arrangements are not always purchased in local currency and some apparent changes have no impact on the price of your travel due to contractual and other protection in place.

Your Holiday Price. Holiday prices include all coach travel, meals, and excursions unless otherwise stated in the holiday literature. Prices include VAT where applicable. Refreshments etc. other than those stated as included are extra. Please note that some hotels may make a small additional charge for porterage and tea or coffee served after lunch and dinner. Gratuities to the hotel staff and driver/couriers are at your discretion.
Your Holiday Price. Holiday prices include all coach travel, accommodation and meals as specified in the holiday description and VAT and GST where applicable. Unless specifically indicated in the holiday itinerary or description contained in your confirmation document, entrance fees, guide fees, city sightseeing tours and optional excursions are not included in the holiday cost.
Your Holiday Price. The price of your holiday is guaranteed and will not be the subject to any surcharges except those resulting from Government action, for example VAT and additional holiday bonding requirements. In all cases we reserve the right to pass these amounts on in full. At the time of writing VAT is not charged on the coach travel element of your holiday price. Morning coffee, afternoon teas and other refreshments are not included.   • Paid Holiday Pay Payment for holidays will be made at an employee’s basic pay, except if an employee has been working in a higher paid position than her regular position for a majority of the sixty (60) working days preceding her holiday, in which case she shall receive the higher pay.

  • Floating Holiday All employees except intermittent, emergency, and temporary employees shall also receive one (1) floating holiday each fiscal year of this Agreement. However, seasonal employees shall be eligible for only one (1) floating holiday per season and intermittent employees shall receive one (1) floating holiday each fiscal year of this Agreement if they complete ninety-one (91) working days in that fiscal year. Unless waived by the supervisor, the employee must request the floating holiday at least fourteen (14) calendar days in advance. The Appointing Authority may limit the number of employees that may be absent on any given day subject to the operational needs of the Appointing Authority. Any conflicts for requested holidays shall be resolved on the basis of State Seniority within the employee's work unit. The Appointing Authority shall make a reasonable effort to approve the requested holiday. Floating holidays may not be accumulated. An employee who has not requested the floating holiday by March 1 of each fiscal year or by thirty (30) calendar days prior to the end of an employee's season shall be scheduled to take a floating holiday on a day chosen by the Appointing Authority or be paid for the floating holiday in cash at the option of the Appointing Authority.

  • Civic Holiday 20.01 An employee who qualifies under Article 9 shall be paid for the Civic holiday.

  • Paid Holidays – Long Weekends (a) When an employee is scheduled to work a weekend where a paid holiday falls on the Monday or the Friday, the Employer shall endeavour to also schedule the employee to work the paid holiday.

  • Statutory Holiday Pay Employees who qualify for statutory holiday pay shall be paid an average day's pay on the Statutory Holidays above, based on the following: amount paid / days worked. “Amount paid” is the amount earned by the employee for work done during the thirty (30) calendars day period preceding the statutory holiday, including vacation pay but excluding overtime pay. “Days worked” is the number of days the employee worked or earned wages during that thirty (30) calendar day period.

  • Statutory Holiday All time worked on such Statutory Holidays as are provided for in this Agreement shall be considered as overtime and shall be paid at two hundred percent (200%) of the employee's regular straight-time rate, or the employee may elect to be paid straight-time rates for the overtime hours and take an equal number of hours as time off. Such time off must be taken according to a schedule acceptable to the employee's Supervisor within thirty (30) days of the end of the pay period in which the overtime was worked.

  • Holiday Falling on Saturday or Sunday For an employee whose normal workweek is from Monday to Friday and when any of the above-noted holidays falls on a Saturday and is not proclaimed as being observed on another day, the following Monday will be deemed to be the holiday. When a holiday falls on a Sunday and it is not proclaimed as being observed on another day, the following Monday (or Tuesday, where the preceding section already applies), will be deemed to be the holiday for the purpose of this agreement.
