Your Holiday Price. We reserve the right to alter the prices of any of the holidays shown in our brochure. You will be advised of the current price of the holiday that you wish to book before your contract is confirmed. When you make your booking you must pay a deposit of a minimum of £150 per person. Please note that increasingly many airfares and some other arrangements require full payment or a higher deposit at the time of booking, you will be advised at the time of booking if this is the case. Any deposit paid is non-refundable. The balance of the price of your travel arrangements must be paid at least 70 days before your departure date - note that some travel arrangements may require the balance to be paid earlier or in full at the time of booking and you will be advised at the time of booking if this is the case. If the deposit and/or balance is not paid in time, we shall cancel your travel arrangements and we shall retain your non-refundable deposit. Any monies you pay to a travel agent (where applicable) are held by the agent on our behalf at all times. If an element of your holiday is priced in a foreign currency the exchange rate used to convert to GBP will be shown on your booking confirmation. Changes in transportation costs, including the cost of fuel, dues, taxes or fees chargeable for services such as landing taxes or embarkation or disembarkation fees at ports and airports and exchange rates mean that the price of your travel arrangements may change after you have booked. In the event that there is an introduction of - or increase to - any government imposed fees (such as, but not limited to, Airline Passenger Duty or ’APD’ in the UK) we reserve the right to pass on increases in any such charges on to you. However, there will be no change and you will not be charged within 30 days of your departure. Apart from government imposed duties or fees above we will absorb and you will not be charged for any other increase equivalent to 2% of the price of your travel arrangements, which excludes insurance premiums and any amendment charges. You will be charged for the amount over and above that, plus an administration charge of £2.50 per person together with an amount to cover agents’ commission (if applicable). The balance of the price of your travel arrangements must be paid at least 90 days before your departure date. If the deposits and/or balance are not paid in time, we may cancel your travel arrangements. If the balance is not paid in time we shall retain your deposits. (c) Changes in the cost of fuel, dues, taxes or fees chargeable for services such as landing taxes or embarkation or disembarkation fees at ports and airports mean that the price of your travel arrangements may change after you have booked. However there will be no change within 30 days of your departure. We will also absorb and you will not be charged for any increase equivalent to 2% of the price of your travel arrangements, which excludes any amendment charges. You will be charged for the amount over and above that. If this means that you have to pay an increase of more than 10% of the price of your travel arrangements, you will have the option of accepting a change to another holiday if we are able to offer one (if this is of equivalent or higher quality you will not have to pay more but if it is of lower quality you will be refunded the difference in price), or cancelling and receiving a full refund of all monies paid, except for any amendment charges. Should you decide to cancel for this reason, you must exercise your right to do so within 14 days from the issue date printed on your final invoice. Should the price of your holiday go down due to the changes mentioned above, by more than 2% of your holiday cost, then any refund due will be paid to you. However, please note that travel arrangements are not always purchased in local currency and some apparent changes have no impact on the price of your travel due to contractual and other protection in place.
Your Holiday Price. Holiday prices include all coach travel, meals, and excursions unless otherwise stated in the holiday literature. Prices include VAT where applicable. Refreshments etc. other than those stated as included are extra. Please note that some hotels may make a small additional charge for porterage and tea or coffee served after lunch and dinner. Gratuities to the hotel staff and driver/couriers are at your discretion.
Your Holiday Price a) Prior to booking you will receive a written or verbal quote based on your specific holiday requirements and travel dates.
Your Holiday Price. The price of your holiday is guaranteed and will not be the subject to any surcharges except those resulting from Government action, for example VAT and additional holiday bonding requirements. In all cases we reserve the right to pass these amounts on in full. Holiday prices include all coach travel, hotel accommodation and meals, as specified in the holiday description and VAT at the current rate where applicable. At the time of writing VAT is not charged on the coach travel element of your holiday price. Morning coffee, afternoon teas and other refreshments are not included. Some hotels may make a small additional charge for porterage and tea and coffee served after lunch and dinner. Gratuities to hotel staff and drivers/courier are discretionary.

Unless specifically indicated in the holiday itinerary or description contained in your confirmation document, entrance fees, guide fees, city sightseeing tours and optional excursions are not included in the holiday cost.

  • Annual Holidays (a) All workers shall be entitled to four weeks annual leave after each period of 12 months continuous employment with the employer, to be provided and paid in accordance with the Holidays Act 2003. The parties to this collective agreement agree that the taking of a minimum of 4 weeks paid annual leave per 12 months of employment is essential for the rest and recreation needs of all employees. Therefore the employer will not promote or accept requests from employees to pay out any of the 4 week annual leave yearly entitlement except where the employee establishes that exceptional circumstances require them to make such request. (b) Except that Managers shall be eligible for a minimum of 5 weeks annual leave per year (c) The parties agree that workers who are paid by direct credit to their bank account shall be paid for their annual holidays in the pay that relates to the period during which the holiday is taken.Where workers are paid other than by direct credit, annual holiday pay shall be paid before the holiday starts. (d) Each worker is expected to take their annual leave entitlement by the due date and shall not carry over more than two weeks entitlement into the next year without mutual agreement with their employer. (i.e. leave earned in one year is to be taken no later than the end of the following year unless agreement has been reached to carry over the leave as outlined above). (e) Annual leave may be taken in advance by agreement with the employer and will be available to employees in their first 12 months of service. Such agreement shall not be unreasonably be withheld. The parties agree that any such holiday pay paid in advance may be deducted from a worker’s final pay if she/he leaves the service before the leave has lawfully been accrued. (f) Study leave and annual leave shall be taken at times mutually agreed between the worker and the employer. The worker is required to give reasonable notice of any application of leave. In the event that the parties are unable to reach agreement as to the timing of annual leave, the employer may require the employee to take annual leave by giving 28 days written notice. (g) At the beginning of any twelve month period an employee may elect to take a 2% salary reduction in return for an additional weeks leave on full pay at the end of that twelve month period. (h) Employers will provide written receipt of request for annual leave immediately if practicable.

  • Floating Holiday All employees except intermittent, emergency, and temporary employees shall also receive one (1) floating holiday each fiscal year of this Agreement. However, seasonal employees shall be eligible for only one (1) floating holiday per season and intermittent employees shall receive one (1) floating holiday each fiscal year of this Agreement if they complete ninety-one (91) working days in that fiscal year. Unless waived by the supervisor, the employee must request the floating holiday at least fourteen (14) calendar days in advance. The Appointing Authority may limit the number of employees that may be absent on any given day subject to the operational needs of the Appointing Authority. Any conflicts for requested holidays shall be resolved on the basis of State Seniority within the employee's work unit. The Appointing Authority shall make a reasonable effort to approve the requested holiday. Floating holidays may not be accumulated. An employee who has not requested the floating holiday by March 1 of each fiscal year or by thirty (30) calendar days prior to the end of an employee's season shall be scheduled to take a floating holiday on a day chosen by the Appointing Authority or be paid for the floating holiday in cash at the option of the Appointing Authority.

  • Paid Holidays – Long Weekends (a) When an employee is scheduled to work a weekend where a paid holiday falls on the Monday or the Friday, the Employer shall endeavour to also schedule the employee to work the paid holiday. (b) When the employee is scheduled off on a weekend where a paid holiday falls on the Monday or the Friday, the Employer shall endeavour to schedule the employee off the paid holiday. (c) In the event of a scheduling conflict, 12.07 (a) will be the deciding provision.

  • Holiday Falling on Saturday or Sunday For an employee whose normal workweek is from Monday to Friday and when any of the above-noted holidays falls on a Saturday and is not proclaimed as being observed on another day, the following Monday will be deemed to be the holiday. When a holiday falls on a Sunday and it is not proclaimed as being observed on another day, the following Monday (or Tuesday, where the preceding section already applies), will be deemed to be the holiday for the purpose of this agreement.

  • Paid Holiday Bank Employees qualify in accordance with the collective agreement. The paid holidays are identified in the Collective Agreement. Credit to the paid holiday bank will occur on the date of the holiday. Drawing from the paid holiday bank will occur at an accelerated rate of 1.25 hours paid for every hour taken (i.e. 11.25 hours worked equals 14.05 hours paid; 7.5 hours worked equals 9.375 hours paid).

  • Holidays Falling on Saturday or Sunday ‌ For an employee whose workweek is from Monday to Friday, and when any of the above-noted holidays falls on a Saturday and is not proclaimed as being observed on some other day, the following Monday shall be deemed to be the holiday for the purpose of this agreement; when a holiday falls on a Sunday and it is not proclaimed as being observed on some other day, the following Monday (or Tuesday, where the preceding section already applies to the Monday), shall be deemed to be the holiday for the purpose of this agreement.

  • Sunday Premium Any employee who is required to work at any time on a Sunday shall be paid a Sunday premium in addition to their regular hourly rate of pay in the amount of seventy-five (75¢) cents per hour, for each such hour and portion of an hour worked. Sunday premium pay shall not be added to an employee's hourly rate of pay for the purpose of computing overtime. The provisions of this Article shall not apply to the “in charge” employees referred to in sub-articles 23.03 and 23.04 of this Agreement.

  • Legal Holiday If the date on which any payment is due shall not be a Business Day, then (notwithstanding any other provision of the Notes or this Indenture) payment need not be made on such date but may be made on the next succeeding Business Day with the same force and effect as if made on the date on which nominally due, and no interest shall accrue for the period from and after any such nominal date.

  • Holidays on Saturday or Sunday When a holiday falls on a Saturday, the preceding workday not a holiday shall be deemed to be that holiday. When a holiday falls on Sunday, the following workday not a holiday shall be deemed to be that holiday.

  • Work on a Holiday Employees required to work on days recognized as holidays which fall within their regular work schedules shall be entitled, in addition to their regular monthly salary, to compensatory time off, or to be paid in cash as provided in Articles 32.1-32.5 (Overtime). Compensatory time off or cash paid for all time worked shall be at the rate of time and one-half (1 ½). The rate at which an employee shall be paid for working on a holiday shall not exceed the rate of time and one-half (1 ½) his/her straight time rate of pay.
