Damage to Personal Property. The Employer will provide reimbursement for reasonable repair or replacement of damages incurred to the employee's eyeglasses, contact lenses or other prosthesis, ripped uniforms, or personal clothing, as a result of being assaulted while performing his/her work. The employee must report the incident by the end of their shift. The employee will present her or his receipt to the Employer within seven (7) days after the event, unless it was impossible for her or him to do so during this period. The Employer will reimburse up to a maximum of one hundred dollars ($100) per incident except for eyeglasses, which shall have a maximum reimbursement of three hundred dollars ($300).
Damage to Personal Property. 3301 In recognition of the fact that during the performance of their duties nurses may have their clothing or other personal property damaged, the Employer agrees to make appropriate compensation for same in accordance with Employer policy.

The Employee will endeavour to present her or his claim to the Employer within seven (7) days after the event, unless it was impossible for her or him to do so during this period.
Damage to Personal Property. Where an employee's personal property, excluding private automobiles, utilized in the performance of their duties is damaged by a client, patient, or resident while the employee is carrying out their duties, and the damages are not covered by Workers' Compensation or insurance, the Employer shall reimburse the employee for the necessary repairs or replacement.

Where an employee produces reasonable proof that personal possessions are damaged by a person in the care or custody of the Employer, the Employer shall pay, to a maximum of seventy-five dollars ($75.00), repair costs, replacement costs, or personal deductible insurance provided such personal possessions are of a type suitable and/or authorized for use while on duty.
Damage to Personal Property. (a) Where an employee produces reasonable proof that personal possessions are damaged by a person in the care or custody of the Employer, the Employer will pay, to a maximum of $150, repair costs, replacement costs, or personal deductible insurance provided such personal possessions are of a type suitable and authorized for use while on duty.
(b) The Employer will pay, for the repair or the replacement cost of prescription eyewear, hearing aids and other prescribed accessibility aids under this article to a maximum of $400. Replacement and repair costs for eyewear, hearing aids and other prescribed accessibility aids will only be considered after the employee has made an unsuccessful claim under WorkSafeBC for replacement or repair of the prescription eyewear, hearing aids and other prescribed accessibility aids.
(c) Appropriate receipts will be required to receive reimbursement from the Employer.
(d) In the event the damage is to the employee's automobile, the insurance deductible will be paid to a maximum of $500.

An employee shall be reasonably compensated for damage to personal clothing worn on duty, or reimbursed dry cleaning charges for excessive soiling to personal clothing worn on duty, provided the damage or soiling did not occur as a result of the employee’s negligence, or failure to wear the protective clothing provided. Each case shall be determined on its merits by the employer.
