SENIORITY (Continued). Seniority shall continue to accumulate and shall not be lost when an employee is on leave due to an injury or accident which is compensable under the Employer's workers' compensation insurance for a period of up to twelve (12) months; when an employee is on leave to serve in the armed forces of the United States; or when an employee is on any paid leave of absence.
SENIORITY (Continued). 44.06 A member will continue to accumulate seniority under the following conditions:
SENIORITY (Continued). 10.07 Unit seniority lists showing company seniority, and identifying unit seniority (if applicable) shall be posted on all bulletin boards and a copy sent to the secretary of the units. This list shall be revised every six (6) months.
SENIORITY (Continued). 8.10 An employee who is or has been transferred from a position which is not part of the bargaining unit may be returned to the said bargaining unit by the Board and shall retain his/her full accumulated seniority. He/she may not, however, displace any employee as a result unless that employee is the most junior member of the bargaining unit. In such cases the provisions of Article 11.01, Job Posting, will not apply. It is understood that there will be no accumulation of seniority for services outside of the bargaining unit.
SENIORITY (Continued). 5.4 In cases where there are promotional series, such as Custodian Engineer I, II, III, etc., when the number of employees in the higher titles is to be reduced, employees who have held lower titles in the bargaining unit will be offered reductions to the highest title to which class seniority would keep them from being laid off, before layoffs are made by any class title in any department.
SENIORITY (Continued). 8.03 An employee’s seniority shall not be deemed to be broken under the following conditions:
SENIORITY (Continued). Continuous seniority requires regular full-time employment. Leaves of absence of less than six (6) months shall not interrupt service.

SENIORITY (Continued). 43.02 A probationary employee will not be placed on the seniority list until the employee has completed the probationary period as stated in Article 42. After completion of the probationary period, the seniority of the employee shall be dated back to the last date of hire.
SENIORITY (Continued). 5.04 If an employee is promoted or transferred to a position outside the scope of this Agreement and later returns to a position covered by this Agreement, he or she will be entitled to all accumulated seniority while a member of the bargaining union unit, provided he or she returns to the bargaining unit after a period of not more than two (2) years. Employees returning to the bargaining unit after a period of more than two (2) years, shall not be entitled to claim more than five (5) years seniority.
