AFFIRMATIVE ACTION/NON-DISCRIMINATION. Recipient agrees that when applicable, the following are incorporated herein as though set forth in full: the non-discrimination and affirmative action clauses contained in Executive Order 11246, as amended, relative to equal employment opportunity for all persons without regard to race, color, religion, sex or national origin, and the implementing rules and regulations contained in Title 41, part 60-1.4 of the Code of Federal Regulations, as amended; the non-discrimination and affirmative action clause contained in Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended, relative to the employment and advancement in employment of qualified individual(s) with a disability without discrimination, and the implementing rules and regulations in Title 41, part 60-741.5 of the Code of Federal Regulations; the non- discrimination and affirmative action clause of the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act of 1974 relative to the employment and advancement in employment of qualified disabled veterans, recently separated veterans, Vietnam era veterans, veterans who served on active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service during a war or in a campaign or expedition for which a campaign badge has been authorized, and Armed Forces service medal veterans, without discrimination, and the implementing rules and regulations in Title 41, parts 60-250.5 and 60-300.5 of the Code of Federal Regulations; Title II of the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act of 2008 which prohibits employment discrimination based on genetic information (including family medical history); and the nondiscrimination clause required by California Government Code Section 12990(c) relative to equal employment opportunity for all persons without regard to race, religious creed, color, national origin, ancestry, physical or mental disability, medical condition (cancer-related or genetic characteristics), marital status, sex (including but not limited to pregnancy and gender identity), age, or sexual orientation, and the implementing rules and regulations of Title 2, Division 4, Chapter 5, Section 8107 of the California Code of Regulations.
AFFIRMATIVE ACTION/NON-DISCRIMINATION a. It is the policy of the District and Union, not to discriminate against any employee covered by this Agreement in a manner, which would violate any applicable laws because of race, creed, color, religion, ancestry, sex, age, marital status, sexual orientation, national origin, political affiliation, Vietnam-era veteran status, disability, or otherwise included in a disadvantaged group. The Union further recognizes the District’s commitment to principles of both equal employment opportunity and affirmative action.
b. All references in the Collective Bargaining Agreement, or associated documents that refers specifically to the male or female gender, shall be construed to apply equally to the opposite.
AFFIRMATIVE ACTION/NON-DISCRIMINATION. A. The District and the Union agree that they will not discriminate against any employee by reason of race, creed, age, color, gender, national origin, ancestry, economic status, pregnancy, physical appearance, religious belief, marital status, gender identity, sexual orientation, or mental, physical or sensory disability.
B. The Union agrees with and supports the concept of Affirmative Action. Therefore, the parties mutually agree to use their best efforts to ensure that this Agreement will not be in conflict with, or inconsistent with Title VII, Title IX of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and/or Washington State Statutes.
AFFIRMATIVE ACTION/NON-DISCRIMINATION. (a) MARC shall require Private Firms to establish and maintain for the term of this Agreement an Affirmative Action Program in accordance with the provisions the Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended. More specifically, any third party firm will comply with the applicable regulations of the U. S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) relative to non- discrimination in federally assisted programs of the USDOT, as contained in 49 CFR 21 through Appendix H and 23 CFR 710.405 which are herein incorporated by reference and made a part of this Agreement.
(b) During the performance of this Agreement or any subcontract resulting thereof, MARC, Private Firms and all subcontractors and vendors (the Private Firms, together with all subcontractors and vendors, shall for purposes of this Section 18 be collectively referred to as the "Other Contractor Parties") shall observe the provisions of the Kansas Acts Against Discrimination (K.S.A. 44-1001, et seq.) and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 as amended and shall not discriminate against any person in the performance of work under the present Agreement because of race, religion, color, sex, national origin, age, disability, ancestry, veteran status, or low income. In all solicitations or advertisements for employees the MARC and the Other Contractor Parties shall include the phrase “equal opportunity employer” or a similar phrase to be approved by the Kansas Human Rights Commission ("Commission"). If MARC fails to comply with the manner in which MARC reports to the Commission in accordance with the provisions of K.S.A. 44-1031 and amendments thereto, or if MARC is found guilty of a violation of the Kansas Act Against Discrimination under a decision or order of the Commission which has become final, MARC shall be deemed to have breached this Agreement, and this Agreement may be canceled, terminated or suspended, in whole or in part, by the City.
(c) MARC shall abide by the Kansas Age Discrimination In Employment Act (K.S.A. 44-1111 et seq.) and the applicable provision of the Americans With Disabilities Act (42 U.S.C. 1201 et seq.), as well as all other federal, state and local laws, ordinances and regulations applicable to this project, and shall furnish any certification required by any federal, state or local laws, ordinances and regulations applicable to this project and shall furnish any certification required by any federal, state or local governmental agency in connection therewith.

AFFIRMATIVE ACTION/NON-DISCRIMINATION. The Contractor will carry out the obligations of this Contract in full compliance with all of the requirements imposed by or pursuant to General Laws c151B (Law Against Discrimination) and any executive orders, rules, regulations, and requirements of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as they may from time to time be amended. The Contractor shall comply with all federal and state laws, rules and regulations promoting fair employment practices or prohibiting employment discrimination and unfair labor practices and shall not discriminate in the hiring of any applicant for employment nor shall any qualified employee be demoted, discharged or otherwise subject to discrimination in the tenure, position, promotional opportunities, wages, benefits or terms and conditions of their employment because of race, color, national origin, ancestry, age, sex, religion, disability, handicap, sexual orientation or for exercising any rights afforded by law.
AFFIRMATIVE ACTION/NON-DISCRIMINATION. DVC ETS&UB and the District shall provide services under this Agreement that do not restrict the participation nor otherwise discriminate among participants and staff with regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, ancestry or national origin.

AFFIRMATIVE ACTION/NON-DISCRIMINATION. The policy of Licensor and Licensee is to comply with all Federal and State nondiscrimination, equal opportunity and affirmative action laws, orders, and regulations. The Licensor and Licensee will not engage in discrimination or harassment against any person because of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, ancestry, age, marital status, handicap, unfavorable discharge from the military, or status as a disabled veteran or a veteran from the Viet Nam era. This nondiscrimination policy applies to admissions, employment, access to and treatment in the Licensor and Licensee programs and activities.
