Allowance for Training. When training is given at a location other than the employee’s normal reporting location, and the employee is required to use his/her personal vehicle, the Company will reimburse the employee for mileage under the Company’s basic mileage plan. The mileage will be based on the dis- tance from the employee’s normal reporting location to the training location. Overtime will be paid for travel time outside the first shift, Monday through Friday schedule, if management determines it necessary to accommodate timely arrival and departure of the training. In addition, the Company agrees to pay an allowance for meals and miscellaneous expenses while attending classes at Company Training Centers when overnight accommoda- tions are required by the Company in the amount of thirty dollars ($30.00) per day. This allowance does not include costs for lodging and travel, which will be paid by the Company. The Company will pay the following expenses associated with acquiring a CDL license required by your position to operate a vehicle other than a normal passenger vehicle. • Initial testing fee associated with passing the driving portion of the CDL. Fees will not be paid if an employee fails the driving test. • Any additional initial endorsements required by the position (tanker, hazardous material, etc.). The Company will pay the following expenses associated with maintaining a CDL license to operate a vehicle other than a normal passenger vehicle required by your position. • Background check and fingerprinting • DOT physical

Allowance for Training. 32.01 The WSDOT Ferries Division has the option to provide training at the work site of the employee or an alternate location. The procedures below are adopted for governing pay practices relative to the WSDOT Ferries Division sponsored training. A. The WSDOT Ferries Division shall provide a minimum of five (5) days’ notice to employees except in emergency situations when employees are requested to attend ferry system sponsored training classes. If employees are not provided five (5) days’ notice, the employee will have the right to refuse the class. B. All employees, except as otherwise provided, shall be paid mileage for attending training classes. Travel time to and from the training classes shall also be paid unless the class concludes within the scheduled shift hours. C. Employees shall be paid a minimum of their scheduled shift hours for that day for attending training classes. The overtime provision shall apply to training classes exceeding the above noted scheduled shift hours.‌ D. Employees’ lunch period shall be included in the work/class schedules. E. Employees required to attend training classes on their day or days off shall be paid the overtime rate of pay. F. Employees attending training classes shall have at least eight (8) hours, excluding travel time, between the completion of their last work shift and the beginning of training classes. G. The Employer shall reimburse employees for the costs associated with the successful renewal of a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) as required by regulatory agencies.‌

Allowance for Training. As-Needed Engineering Services and Hardware Procurement. - 160 annual engineering hours provided - in section 2.7.10 can be used for as-needed engineering services Contractor shall bill as-needed engineering services and training requested by the SFMTA at the labor rates set out in Appendix B to this Maintenance Agreement. Contractor shall bill the SFMTA for as-needed Equipment authorized by the SFMTA at actual cost plus five percent (5%) mark-up. Any portion of the allowance for as- needed engineering services and hardware procurement shall roll-over to the next year or shall be credited towards the annual services fee.

  • Funding for Training (a) In furtherance of the objectives of clause 33 hereof, and as a further initiative to enhance the employment and career opportunities of the Employees, the Parties to this Agreement will continue to facilitate on- going training to improve OHS in the industry and to improve Employees’ work skills so as to advance progression to higher industry skill levels. (b) To support the cost of these training initiatives the Employer will make a payment per Employee per week as per the table below.   • Trainings Appointment of any length involving two (2) or more Consumers who might need to split up to join different trainings, group discussions, etc.

  • First Aid Training In the interests of the occupational safety and health of employees, the Employer will undertake an in-service program of first aid training aimed at providing a first aid officer for each department.

  • Auto Allowance Executive shall be entitled to an auto allowance for one vehicle for Executive’s use up to $1,000 per month.

  • Employee Training The Provider shall provide periodic security training to those of its employees who operate or have access to the system. Further, Provider shall provide LEA with contact information of an employee who LEA may contact if there are any security concerns or questions.

  • Education Reimbursement The County will provide education reimbursement for education costs incurred by regular employees who apply for such reimbursement in accordance with the policies and procedures governing the education reimbursement program. The maximum reimbursement shall be $1,500 per year.
