Ancillary Activities. (a) If the Grant Activity occurs as part of an overall activity that includes commercial activities, such activities will neither influence planning nor interfere with the Grant Activity. No commercial activities will be permitted in the same room as an educational activity, unless (i) this is allowed in the country in which the activity will take place and (ii) only to the extent that such commercial activity does not interfere with the purpose of the Grant Activity.
(b) The scheduling of meals and/or receptions, if any, in connection with any portion of the Grant Activity is at the sole discretion of Grant Recipient. Meals and/or receptions, if any, will be modest and conducive to the Grant Activity, and the amount of time at the meals or receptions will be clearly subordinate to the overall amount of time.
Ancillary Activities. Per Education Code 87482.5 c (1) unit members may be assigned ancillary activities, such as but not limited to governance, staff development, grant writing, staff meetings, and advising student organizations and that all hours worked in ancillary activities shall not be used for purposes of calculating eligibility for contract or regular status. Ancillary activities are not counted in the calculation of hourly assignment limits. These hours are paid at the non-instructional rate.
Ancillary Activities. Paragraph 1. The Employee may participate in contests in which the Employer is not involved, provided that the interests of the Employer are not prejudiced. The Employee informs the Employer of his/her participation and time estimation before the start of the contest.
Paragraph 2. If the Employee works part-time and also performs similar activities independently or in the service of another Employer, he/she shall inform the Employer in advance in order to prevent and resolve possible conflicts of interest.

Ancillary Activities. 7.8.1 The District and the Union agree that pursuant to the provisions of section 87482.5(c)(1) of the Education Code, any service in professional ancillary activities by Unit Members, whether paid or unpaid, shall not be used for purposes of calculating eligibility for contract or regular status with the District.
7.8.2 Ancillary activities include, but are not limited to, the following:
7.8.2.1 Service on District or campus governance committees, including, but not limited to, budget committees, advisory councils, cabinets, accreditation committees, master planning committees, program review committees, etc.;
7.8.2.2 Service on hiring committees;
7.8.2.3 Service on evaluation committees;
7.8.2.4 Participation in department and division meetings and activities;
7.8.2.5 Service on academic/faculty senates;
7.8.2.6 Curriculum and course development projects;
7.8.2.7 Advising student organizations;
7.8.2.8 Providing tutoring services to students outside of class;
7.8.2.9 Grant writing, implementation and management;
7.8.2.10 Participation in, preparation for, or presentation of District-sponsored Professional Development/activities.
7.8.3 Unit Members serving on Academic Senate, District Consultation Council, Technology Coordinating Council, Council on Budget and Facilities; and District Enrollment Management Advisory Committee shall be compensated for their service on these committees as outlined below and shall not serve on more than one committee per semester.
7.8.3.1 Adjunct Senators shall be compensated for attending Academic Senate meetings not to exceed four hours of pay per month at their regular rate, except Credit Instructors at the lab rate.
7.8.3.2 The Unit Member shall be compensated for attending District Consultation Council not to exceed two hours of pay per month at their regular rate, except Credit Instructors at the lab rate.
7.8.3.3 The Unit Member shall be compensated for attending Technology Coordinating Council not to exceed two hours of pay per month at their regular rate, except Credit Instructors at the lab rate.
7.8.3.4 The Unit Member shall be compensated for attending Council on Budget and Facilities not to exceed four hours of pay per month at their regular rate, except Credit Instructors at the lab rate.
7.8.3.5 The Unit Member shall be compensated for attending District Enrollment Management Advisory Committee not to exceed two hours of pay per month at their regular rate, except Credit Instructors at the lab rate.
Ancillary Activities. Activities that are ancillary to a worker’s direct production work are considered hours worked in direct production for purposes of calculating the average hourly base wage rate. Such activities include, for example, paid time spent donning and xxxxxxx clothing and equipment, receiving on-the- job training, and attending safety and production meetings for workers on the production line related to direct production work. Direct production work for line workers who spend virtually all of their time on the production line or its equivalent also includes such activities as paid lunch and break time.

Ancillary Activities. The Parties will work in good faith to develop procedures and to manage issues that arise relating to bailee letters, Pledged Mortgages or Warehouse Lenders, and any Xxxxxxx Mac programs, pilot programs or initiatives that might impact the transactions contemplated herein.
Ancillary Activities. XXXX agrees to carry out the following ancillary activities in relation to the UKCA-ECR:
5.1 Where information is received about the convictions of UK nationals in other EU Member States, to co-ordinate the application of appropriate measures and checks to ensure public protection issues are addressed;
5.2 To operate and maintain whatever databases and systems are required to carry out the above functions efficiently and effectively;
5.3 To provide professional advice to police forces in all UK jurisdictions, the Home Office, the Scottish Government and the Department of Justice Northern Ireland on overseas conviction issues;
5.4 To contribute to negotiations at EU level and bilaterally on overseas conviction/ criminal record issues;
5.5 To participate as necessary in discussions and work at EU level to implement work around the piloting of the electronic exchange of criminal record information; and
5.6 To help raise awareness with relevant organisations within the UK of the role of ACRO in dealing with requests for criminal records information.

1.1 Deliver the UK obligations under the UKCA-ECR.
1.2 Provide support to UK Police Forces by organising the management of criminal record information and improve the links between criminal records and biometric information.
