Area of Work. Efficient school administration is promoted when members of the Unit are working within their area of competence, without excessive or overburdening demands. Annually, upon the request of the Association, the Director of Personnel/Human Resources and Employee Relations shall meet the Association on or before the 10th student day of the school year to review secretarial staffing in relationship to student enrollment and other building needs as appropriate. As part of the review, a building visit may be necessary to properly evaluate the above criteria. Any staffing inequities, mutually identified by the Director of Personnel/Human Resources and Employee Relations and the Association in the review shall be corrected within thirty (30 days), or at a time mutually agreed upon by the parties.

Area of Work. 1. The Employer agrees to be bound to this Agreement while working in the following counties in Eastern Washington; Okanogan, Chelan, Kittitas, Yakima, Douglas, Grant, Benton, Franklin, Walla Walla, Adams, Lincoln, Ferry, Stevens, Pend Oreille, Spokane, Whitman, Garfield, Asotin, Columbia and the Northern Idaho counties of Kootenai, Boundary, Xxxxxx, Benewah, Latah, Shoshone, Nez Perce, Clearwater, Xxxxx, and Idaho County and any other territory granted to District Council 5 by the Executive Board of the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades. And will be bound by the Collective Bargaining Agreement in effect in any other part of the states of Washington, Oregon and Idaho when working in those areas. a. The Employer party to this Agreement, when engaged in work outside the geographical jurisdiction of the Union party to this Agreement, shall request from the Local Union having the geographical jurisdiction dispatches for not less than fifty percent (50%) of the workers required for such work from the residents of the area where the work is performed or from among persons who are employed the greater percentage of their time in such area; any others may be employed as needed to meet project requirements. All workers not members thereof shall be required to check in with the Local Union having geographical jurisdiction. b. The Employer party hereto shall, when engaged in work in the United States or Canada but outside the geographic jurisdiction of the Union party to the Agreement, comply with all of the lawful clauses of the Collective Bargaining Agreement in effect in said other geographic jurisdiction and executed by the Employers of the industry and the affiliated Local Unions in that jurisdiction including but not limited to, the wages, hours, working conditions, fringe benefits, and procedure for settlement of grievances set forth therein; provided however, that where the Employer party signatory to this Agreement is not signatory with the affiliated Union that has a current effective agreement covering the geographical jurisdiction of such out-of-area work, the Employer shall perform such work in accordance with this Agreement and comply with all of the clauses of this Collective Bargaining Agreement that are not in conflict with any laws, rules, and/or regulations of said other geographic jurisdiction; and provided further that as to employees employed by such Employer from within the geographic jurisdiction of the Union party to this Agre...

This service may be delivered either directly or by contractors appointed by the FSA. The FSS will be responsible for agreeing with SEPA their level of contribution to the production of the annual Radioactivity in Food and the Environment reports. The FSA will continue to have representation on Environmental Radioactivity Monitoring Task Team (ERMTT), to maintain its involvement in working for a consistent approach in monitoring and surveillance across the UK and ensure practice complies with national and international legal requirements. FSS will be responsible for approaching SEPA regarding access to ERMTT and ensuring food monitoring for radioactivity in Scotland is carried out appropriately. (References to food are considered to include feed for animals intended for human consumption) FSS is the policy lead for implementing protective food safety measures during radiological incidents that occur in Scotland and enforcement of FEPA orders. FSA supports FSS in this role by conducting risk assessments for Scotland and providing guidance on the need for and proposed FEPA restriction areas. In line with the MOU and Protocol on Incident Handling agreed between the FSA and FSS, radiological incidents are classed as UK-wide incidents and the FSA Radiological Teams will assume responsibility for providing the policy and technical expertise to the response. Radiological incidents will be led by the FSA, however, incidents in Scotland may be led by FSS by mutual agreement in individual cases. FSS will be responsible for planning and coordinating participation in nuclear emergency exercises which would solely affect Scotland. The FSA Radiological Teams will assist with these exercises and provide policy and technical expertise at the request of FSS. FSS will give the FSA a minimum of 1 month’s notice prior to any exercise where they require FSA participation.
