Assistant Nurse. Fifty (50) days prior to the effective date of a RIF, the Board shall prepare and post for inspection in a conspicuous place, a list containing the names, seniority dates and classifications, and indicate which employees are to be part of the RIF. Each employee to be part of the RIF shall be given advance written notice of the RIF. Each notice of RIF shall state the following: (a) reason for the RIF; (b) the effective date of the RIF; and

Assistant Nurse. 1. Upon employment, the Assistant Nurse shall be assigned a specific Building Administrator to act as his/her supervisor. The assigned building administrator shall be responsible for the evaluation of the Assistant Nurse. . 2. The Assistant Nurse shall work under the direction of the building principal and full-time Registered Nurse. 3. The Assistant Nurse shall be a part time position. 4. Assistant Nurses must comply with applicable state licensure and federal qualification requirements as a condition of continued employment.
Assistant Nurse. (a) An Assistant Nurse possessing a Certificate III in Aged Care and 12 calendar months experience shall be appointed to at least Assistant Nurse Level 2.1 (b) An Assistant Nurse will only move to Level 3 by appointment and in accordance with criteria set out at schedule 2. (c) Western Downs Regional Council will audit and report through the consultative processes established under this agreement, Assistant Nurse Level 3 numbers at the commencement of this agreement and every six months thereafter.
Assistant Nurse. (a) An Assistant Nurse possessing a Certificate III in Aged Care and 12 calendar months experience shall be appointed to at least Assistant Nurse Level 2.1 (b) An Assistant Nurse whose normal day to day role requires him/her to be responsible for the co-ordination of the activities or work routines of other Assistant Nurses shall progress to Level 3 Assistant Nurse, whose roles will be specifically defined in the position description. (c) In the event that there is disagreement between the employer and employee as to whether the employee fulfils progression requirements in accordance with this clause the employee may use the disputes settlement procedure at Clause 4.5 of this Agreement to resolve the matter.
Assistant Nurse. (i) An Assistant Nurse possessing a Certificate III in Residential Aged Care and with the equivalent of a full time working year experience (1976 hours) shall be appointed to at least Assistant Nurse Level 2.1. (ii) An Assistant Nurse in possession of a Level IV Certificate in Residential Aged Care or equivalent qualification shall be eligible for appointment to Assistant Nurse Level 3 upon written application and demonstrated attainment against the following criteria: (a) completion of a minimum of 1976 hours as an Assistant Nurse Level 2; (b) satisfactory performance assessment in their current role over the last 12 months; (c) the ability to undertake responsibilities additional to an Assistant Nurse Level 2; (d) the exercise of discretion and judgement commensurate with the level of skill and training; (e) demonstrated understanding and application of aged care outcome standards; and (f) ability to work effectively as part of a team and operate with limited supervision. Assessment against the above criteria will be undertaken by the Employee’s supervisor or manager. In the event the Employee’s application is refused the Employee will be provided in writing a statement of the reasons for the decision and the identification of specific areas that require improvement (supported by training as necessary) to enable the Employee to consider this information prior to making a further application for progression.
Assistant Nurse. Level 1 1.2.1 An employee at this level shall perform work above the skills of an Entry Level employee and shall have obtained proficiency necessary to perform work at this level. 1.2.2 An employee at this level is required to: Exercise discretion and judgement within their level of skill and training. Receive on or off the job training or has received training. Work under direct or indirect Supervision. Demonstrate an understanding of standards required in the aged care industry and actively participate in the implementation of those standards. Active involvement in, and contributes to, continuous improvement. 1.2.3 Indicative tasks/skills of this level, in addition to the Entry Level, may include but not be limited to the following: Provide input on observation. Record on standard structured pro-forma. Assist in delivery of nursing care under direct or indirect Supervision. Assist with medications on the request of the client/resident within a delegated or assigned range of duties, subject to legislative requirements.

  • Assistant Treasurers and Assistant Secretaries The assistant treasurers and assistant secretaries shall perform such duties as shall be assigned to them by the treasurer or the secretary, respectively, or by the chairman and chief executive officer, the president or the Management Committee.

  • Assistant Professor An Assistant Professor is a member of a Faculty of the University who shall ordinarily have the following minimum qualifications: (a) A doctoral degree; (b) Aptitude for teaching university students. The doctoral requirement may be waived if the Candidate has a record of suitable teaching, scholarship as defined in Article 1.1(n); or, in lieu of such a record, has professional qualifications and experience to enable him/her to make an appropriate academic contribution to the University.

  • Treasurer; Assistant Treasurer The Treasurer shall be the chief financial and accounting officer of the Trust, and shall, subject to the provisions of the Declaration of Trust and to any arrangement made by the Trustees with a custodian, investment adviser, sub-adviser or manager, or transfer, shareholder servicing or similar agent, be in charge of the valuable papers, books of account and accounting records of the Trust, and shall have such other duties and powers as may be designated from time to time by the Trustees or by the President. Any Assistant Treasurer shall have such duties and powers as may be designated from time to time by the Trustees or the President.

The Treasurer shall perform all other duties commonly incident to his office and shall perform such other duties and have such other powers as this Agreement, the Board or a President, shall designate from time to time. The Assistant Treasurers shall exercise the power of the Treasurer during that Officer’s absence or inability or refusal to act. Each of the Assistant Treasurers shall possess the same power as the Treasurer to sign all certificates, contracts, obligations and other instruments of the Company. If no Treasurer or Assistant Treasurer is appointed and serving or in the absence of the appointed Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer, a President or such other Officer as the Board shall select, shall have the powers and duties conferred upon the Treasurer.

  • Secretary; Assistant Secretary The Secretary shall record all proceedings of the Shareholders and the Trustees in books to be kept therefor, which books or a copy thereof shall be kept at the principal office of the Trust. In the absence of the Secretary from any meeting of the Shareholders or Trustees, an Assistant Secretary, or if there be none or if he or she is absent, a temporary secretary chosen at such meeting shall record the proceedings thereof in the aforesaid books. Any Assistant Secretary shall have such duties and powers as may be designated from time to time by the Trustees or the President.

  • Assistant Secretary The Assistant Secretary, or if there be more than one, the Assistant Secretaries in the order determined by the Trustees (or if there be no determination, then in the order of their election), shall, in the absence of the Secretary or in the event of his inability or refusal to act, perform the duties and exercise the powers of the Secretary and shall perform such other duties and have such other powers as the Board of Trustees may from time to time prescribe.

  • Secretary and Assistant Secretaries The secretary shall record all proceedings of the shareholders and the Trustees in books to be kept therefor, which books shall be kept at the principal office of the Trust. In the absence of the secretary from any meeting of shareholders or Trustees, an assistant secretary, or if there be none or he or she is absent, a temporary clerk chosen at the meeting shall record the proceedings thereof in the aforesaid books.
