BARGAINING-UNIT REPRESENTATIVE. Western statutorily recognizes the Chapter as the sole and exclusive collective bargaining representative for all post-doctoral fellows and Board- appointed ranked faculty of Western Michigan University who are assigned and authorized to work on a regular basis in Michigan, including ranked faculty in the University Libraries and Counseling Services at Sindecuse. Western contractually recognizes the Chapter as the sole and exclusive collective bargaining representative for all post-doctoral fellows and Board appointed ranked faculty of Western Michigan University who are assigned and authorized to work on a regular basis in states other than Michigan. Typically, these appointments may range from 50% (proportional appointment) to 100% (full appointment) to 125% (fiscal year) of a full-time appointment, although some appointments may be approved at less than 50% of a full-time appointment.

BARGAINING-UNIT REPRESENTATIVE. The Employer agrees that during working hours, on the Employer's premises, and without loss of pay, Bargaining Unit representatives shall be allowed to post on employee bulletin boards or distribute through the Employer's inter-office mail system to employees covered by this Agreement, notices of Bargaining Unit meetings. In addition, the Employer agrees that the Bargaining Unit will be considered an approved user and may use the District's facilities according to District policy governing such groups.

Unless otherwise agreed to by the Employer, the investigation of grievances and other Union business shall be conducted only during non-working times, and shall not interfere with the work of other employees.

BARGAINING-UNIT REPRESENTATIVE. The Union shall have the right to selectofficers who will act as the bargaining unit representatives from among the nurses in the unit.   • Bargaining Unit Roster Upon the signing of this Agreement and monthly thereafter, the Employer shall supply to the Union via a secured method an alphabetical list of all employees covered by this Agreement. The list shall include the name, address, employee identification number, date of hire, rehire date (if applicable), shift, FTE, job classification, department cost center number, unit, hourly rate of pay and monthly gross earnings. Each month, the Employer will provide a list of new hires and addresses, and a list of all employees who have terminated during the month via a secured method. The new hire and termination lists shall include the same data as the monthly employee roster except for monthly gross earnings. The termination list shall include the termination date. Within ninety (90) days of ratification, Swedish Medical Center and SEIU 1199NW will convene a work group including HRIS expert to explore a method for the Employer to provide a list of all employment changes for bargaining unit employees, via a secure site.

  • Union Bargaining Committee A Union Bargaining Committee shall be appointed by the Union and shall consist of up to three (3) members of the Union together with the President of the Union or her designate. The Union shall have the right at any time to have the assistance of members of the staff of the Union when negotiating with the Employer.

  • Bargaining Unit The term "bargaining unit" as used in this Agreement refers to the bargaining unit defined in Article 1, Recognition.

  • Bargaining Unit Work 255. The City agrees that it will not assign work currently performed by employees under this Agreement to City employees in other bargaining units.
