Canine Handler Differential and Stipend. Effective on September 6, 2021, Sheriff’s Correctional Deputies and/or Xxxxxxxx’x Correctional Sergeants assigned as canine handlers shall be compensated for the off- duty care and handling of the canine (which includes, but is not limited to, feeding, grooming, exercising, bonding, health-care, cleaning up after etc.) through a cash differential. Sheriff’s Correctional Deputies and/or Xxxxxxxx’x Correctional Sergeants assigned as canine handlers shall be paid a cash differential of $565.70 biweekly which shall be the exclusive flat rate compensation for the off-duty care and handling for each assigned canine. The County and the Association agree that the above cash differential is based on an average of sixty (60) minutes per day of off- duty canine care and handling time, per canine, over 14 days per pay-period; and further agree that the differential is based on the Kennel Attendant overtime base rate of pay. Off-duty canine care time shall not be considered time worked for the purposes of determining overtime eligibility or pay under Section 7.5 of this Agreement when canine handlers work their regularly scheduled work hours at their Sheriff Correctional Deputy and/or Xxxxxxxx’x Correctional Sergeant rate of pay. The canine handler compensation shall be paid in compliance with the Public Employees’ Pension Reform Act of 2013. The $565.70 biweekly cash differential was arrived at during negotiations over canine pay between the County and CPOA and is based upon the County’s Canine Handler Time Study Administrative Report (“Report”) dated September 21, 2020 and provided to CPOA. The Report investigated the actual time spent by Sheriff’s Correctional Deputy and/or Sheriff’s Correctional Sergeant canine handlers in their provision of off-duty care and handling and included interviews with all canine handlers. The County and CPOA agree that compensating the assigned canine handlers for sixty (60) minutes per day for the off-duty care and handling of the canine is reasonable, based upon the Report, and is in compliance with FLSA pay requirements. The parties agree that any time spent in excess of sixty (60) minutes per day is not reasonable or necessary and is unauthorized. A canine handler shall be paid a fifty dollar ($50.00) biweekly stipend for food for each assigned canine. Sheriff’s Correctional Deputies assigned as canine handlers will be granted 7 hours of paid time off per pay-period in blocks of not less than 30 minutes which shall be the exclusive flat rate compensation for the off-duty care and handling of the canine.   • Bilingual Differential When formally assigned in the employee’s position description, an employee assigned to interpret to or from another language to English will receive a differential of five percent (5%) of base pay.

  • Shift Differentials 18.1 Employees whose regularly assigned shifts commence between 1400 and 2159 hours shall receive a shift differential of seventy-five cents (75¢) per hour, and employees whose regularly assigned shifts commence between 2200 and 0559 hours shall receive a shift differential of eighty cents (80¢) per hour. Effective January 1, 2005, for employees whose regularly assigned shifts commence between 2200 and 0559 hours shall receive a shift differential of one dollar ($1) per hour. Overtime shall not be calculated on the shift differential nor shall the shift differential be paid for paid absence from duty such as vacations, general holidays, etc.

  • Shift Differential A. Shift differential will be $.60 cents per hour. B. Employees eligible for shift differential are those whose work shift begins before 6:00 a.m. or ends on or after 7:00 p.m. and are scheduled by their supervisor for a total shift of at least six (6) hours in duration. This shift differential shall not apply to those employees who have requested and have been granted flexible work scheduling.

  • Ancillary and Travel Expenses A. Except as otherwise provided in the Grant Agreement, no ancillary expenses incurred by the Grantee in connection with its provision of the services or deliverables will be reimbursed by the System Agency. Ancillary expenses include, but are not limited to, costs associated with transportation, delivery, and insurance for each deliverable. B.   • Shift Differential Pay A. Employees shall receive additional compensation at the rate of $.75 per hour for all hours worked on an assigned shift when the majority of the hours worked are between 6:00 p.m. and 7:30 a.m. B. In lieu of compensation set forth in paragraph A above, employees shall receive additional compensation at the rate of $1.50 per hour for all hours worked on a regularly assigned shift when the majority of the hours worked are between 12:00 a.m. and 6:30 a.m.

  • Weekend Differential Employees assigned to State institutions other than Maine State Prison shall be eligible for a weekend differential of fifty cents ($.50) per hour to the base for shifts beginning between 10:00 p.m. Friday and 9:59 p.m.

  • Supervisory Differential Adjustment The Appointing Officer shall adjust the compensation of a supervisory employee whose compensation grade is set herein subject to the following conditions:

  • Business and Travel Expenses Upon presentation of reasonable substantiation and documentation as the Company may specify from time to time, the Employee shall be reimbursed in accordance with the Company’s expense reimbursement policy, for all reasonable out-of-pocket business and travel expenses incurred and paid by the Employee during the Employment Term and in connection with the performance of the Employee’s duties hereunder.

  • Differentials Special Education Head Teachers at the High School, Middle School and Elementary levels differentials shall be based on the size of the team (department) as follows:

  • - Overtime Premium and No Pyramiding Subject to any superior conditions, the overtime rate shall be time and one-half (1-1/2) the employee's straight-time hourly rate. Where an employee is required to work additional overtime contiguous to an overtime shift within a twenty-four (24) hour period, the employee will be compensated at the rate of double time his or her straight time hourly rate for all additional contiguous overtime hours worked. Overtime premium will not be duplicated nor pyramided nor shall other premiums be duplicated nor pyramided nor shall the same hours worked be counted as part of the normal work week and also as hours for which the overtime premium is paid.
