CASUAL WORKERS. Casuals may be employed to relieve positions normally occupied by regular or part-time Employees who are absent from work for any reason. Casuals will be utilized to perform work outside of scheduled work periods and during overload or peak periods of activity, but shall not be used to circumvent the hiring of regular full-time or part-time Employees. Clauses 1.05 and 1.06 are applicable to casual workers.

CASUAL WORKERS. 8.01 Casual workers may be procured by the employer and shall be hired to replace full time workers who are on vacation, have approved leave of absence, off due to illness, or replacements for no-shows. Casual workers shall be referred by the Union after being notified by the Contractor of the identity of the casual workers the employer wishes to hire.
CASUAL WORKERS. Any worker dismissed through no fault of his own before the expiration of one week of his employment shall be considered casual and shall receive twenty per cent above the rate specified for the work performed.
CASUAL WORKERS. (1) A casual worker shall mean a worker engaged on an hourly contract of service.
CASUAL WORKERS. A casual employee shall be a person who is hired to normally work less than eight (8) days per month. In the event the Employer hires casual drivers, the following terms shall apply.

CASUAL WORKERS. Casual workers are employees who are called in to work on an occasional basis and who do not have an ongoing relationship with the Employer. Casual workers shall not be eligible for any benefits set forth in Articles 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 22, 24, and 25. In lieu thereof such employees shall be paid a premium of eight percent (8%) of their base rate in consideration for statutory holiday pay and insured benefits, and shall be paid overtime and vacation pay in accordance with the provincial Employment Standards Regulations.
CASUAL WORKERS. Casual Workers are not members of the Bargaining Unit and are not entitled to the rights and benefits of this Agreement.
