Climate Assessment. The PAC at each site shall meet and recommend constructive and effective processes for assessing the climate of the site. The results of these assessments will be shared with the site, Superintendent and Board on or before May 15. As the results are shared, appropriate consideration will be given to the confidentiality of personnel issues. The Superintendent or designee shall develop a process for determining the climate of the District, which shall include a component for allowing responses to climate from staff.

Climate Assessment. The District will administer a school climate survey at the District’s middle and high schools before the end of the first semester of the 2023-2024 school year. The survey can be part of a larger survey regarding school climate already being used, or planned to be used, by any of the middle or high schools. The District will identify staff members to serve as a District Climate Survey Working Group (Working Group), which will make recommendations to the District regarding the climate survey. The District will designate one or more employees to coordinate the Working Group’s meetings and activities, and the employee(s) will be responsible for informing the District of the Working Group’s recommendations. The District will notify parents of an opportunity to provide input or comments about the survey to the Working Group. The Working Group will be tasked with providing the District with recommendations and input regarding strategies for an effective climate survey. The Working Group’s recommendations to the District will, at a minimum, address:
Climate Assessment. The District Climate Committee shall meet and recommend a uniform instrument to be used in all buildings in the District for assessing the climate of each building and the general climate of the District. PAC shall administer these assessments. The results of these assessments will be shared with the buildings, Superintendent, Association President, and Board on or before April 15 of each year. Any year a district-wide climate assessment is not implemented, the District Climate Committee shall develop a uniform, “no cost” instrument to be used at the building level. As the results are shared, appropriate consideration will be given to the confidentiality of student and personnel issues.

By December 15, 2015, the University will provide for OCR’s review and approval a detailed plan regarding conducting focus groups as described above, including a list of topics it proposes to address with the focus groups. Within forty-five (45) calendar days of receipt of OCR’s comments, the University will revise its plan in response to those comments.

By December 15, 2014, and again by December 15, 2015, the University’s Title IX Coordinator will conduct assessments of campus climate to assess the effectiveness of steps taken pursuant to this Agreement, or otherwise by the University, to provide for a campus free of sex discrimination, including sexual harassment. The purpose of the climate checks is to, at a minimum, assess the scope of the students’ and employees’ knowledge of what constitutes sex discrimination (including sexual harassment); any personal or observed experiences with sex discrimination while attending the University; the students’ and employees’ view of the current climate at the University regarding these issues and any potentially problematic areas on campus (e.g., dormitories, athletic facilities); the students’ and employees’ knowledge and understanding of the University’s Title IX policies and procedures and to whom to report sex discrimination (including sexual harassment) should they witness or experience it; and suggestions for steps the University could take to effectively address these issues. A climate assessment can be conducted in many ways, including but not limited to a survey distributed in-person or online, or a poll conducted in-person or online. In addition, the campus may organize an open forum information session for students and employees, and designated, publicized walk-in hours for campus community input. If the University opts to use a survey or poll, the University first will submit the survey or poll to OCR for review and approval prior to its distribution. The University will use information gathered during these climate assessments to inform future proactive steps taken by the University to provide for a safe educational environment and compliance with Title IX. Finally, part of the University’s ongoing climate assessments will include ensuring students and employees know who they can report concerns about sex discrimination to, and which sources are confidential sources and which are required to report the information to the University.   • Needs Assessment 1. The Contractor shall conduct a cultural and linguistic group-needs assessment of the eligible client population in the Contractor’s service area to assess the language needs of the population and determine what reasonable steps are necessary to ensure meaningful access to services and activities to eligible individuals. [22 CCR 98310, 98314] The group-needs assessment shall take into account the following four (4) factors:

  • Environmental Assessment Buyer shall have the right for a period commencing upon execution of this Agreement by both parties and ending on November 28, 2012, to conduct an environmental assessment of the Assets, at Buyer’s sole risk, liability and expense. Seller shall make available to Buyer, during the environmental assessment period described above, Seller’s historical files regarding prior operations on the Assets, and provide Buyer and its representatives with reasonable access to the Assets to conduct the environmental assessment. Buyer shall provide Seller three (3) days prior written notice of a desired date(s) for such assessment and Seller shall have the right to be present during any assessment and, if any testing is conducted pursuant to Seller’s express prior written consent, Seller may require splitting of all samples. Notwithstanding any other provision of this Agreement to the contrary, Buyer shall not have the right to drill any test, monitor or other xxxxx or to extract samples of any air, soil, water or other substance from the Assets without Seller’s express prior written consent. If Buyer proposes a reasonable request to drill a test well or extract a sample pursuant to a systematic and customary procedure for the assessment of the environmental condition of the Assets and Seller refuses to grant its consent to such a well or sampling, then Buyer shall have the right, for a period of seventy-two (72) hours following notification of Seller’s refusal to consent, to deliver written notice to Seller of Buyer’s election to exclude from this transaction the portion of the Assets affected by such proposed test well or sample, and the Purchase Price shall be adjusted accordingly by the Allocated Value of such portion of the Assets so excluded. Under no circumstances whatsoever shall Seller ever be obligated to grant its consent to any such test xxxxx or sampling proposed by Buyer, and Buyer’s sole and exclusive remedy for any refusal by Seller to grant its consent shall be the limited right contained in the preceding sentence to exclude the affected Assets from the transactions contemplated by this Agreement. If Buyer fails to exercise the right to exclude such Assets by written notice to Seller delivered prior to the expiration of the seventy-two hour period described above, then Buyer shall be conclusively deemed to have waived such right and shall be obligated to purchase the affected Assets without conducting such testing or sampling or any adjustment of the Purchase Price unless otherwise provided in this Agreement.

  • Conformity Assessment 1. The Parties recognize that a broad range of mechanisms exists to facilitate the acceptance of conformity assessment procedures and results thereby, including:

  • Impact Assessment If Service Provider desires to make any change, upgrade, replacement or addition that may have an adverse impact or require changes as described in Section 9.6(c) or increase the risk of Service Provider not being able to provide the Services in accordance with this Agreement or violate or be inconsistent with DIR Standards or Strategic Plans, then Service Provider shall prepare a written risk assessment and mitigation plan (1) describing in detail the nature and extent of such adverse impact or risk, (2) describing any benefits, savings or risks to DIR or the DIR Customers associated with such change, and (3) proposing strategies to mitigate any adverse risks or impacts associated with such change and, after consultation and agreement with DIR, implement the plan.

  • Project Completion Report At the completion of construction and once a Project is placed in service, the Subrecipient must submit a Project Completion Report that includes the total number of units built and leased, affordable units built and leased, DR-MHP units built and leased, an accomplishment narrative, and the tenants names, demographics and income for each DR-MHP unit.

  • Environmental Assessment and Mitigation Development of a transportation project must comply with applicable environmental laws. The party named in article 1, Responsible Parties, under AGREEMENT is responsible for the following:

  • PROPERTY ASSESSMENT The Buyer and Seller hereby acknowledge that the Province of Ontario has implemented current value assessment and properties may be re-assessed on an annual basis. The Recipient shall monitor and evaluate the progress of the Project and prepare Project Reports in accordance with the provisions of Section 2.06 of the Standard Conditions and on the basis of indicators agreed with the World Bank. Each Project Report shall cover the period of one (1) calendar semester, and shall be furnished to the World Bank not later than one (1) month after the end of the period covered by such report.
