Commercial Operation Test. After performing the tests prior to synchronization as provided in Schduele-1 and satisfactorily synchronizing the Project with the system, Commercial Operations Test will be conducted by the Company at its own cost.
Commercial Operation Test. On or prior to the Scheduled Commercial Operation Date, Lessor shall perform a Commercial Operation Test in accordance with Schedule 4.2.
Commercial Operation Test. (a) After performing the tests prior to synchronization as provided in Schedule 3 and satisfactorily synchronizing the Facility with the system, Commercial Operation Test will be conducted by the Company at its own cost. Once the Company is satisfied that the Facility is capable of continued reliable operation, the Company will notify BPDB and carry out at its own cost, the Commercial Operation Test.
(b) The above testing of the Facility shall satisfy the requirements provided in Schedule 3 for achieving the Commercial Operations Date.
(c) If the Company is not satisfied with the result of any test under Commercial Operation Test, the Company may request up to two additional tests of that to establish the Commercial Operations Date. At least forty eight (48) hours notice to be provided to BPDB by the Company prior to a subsequent test and the result of the most recent test shall be designated as part of the Commercial Operation Test for the purposes of establishing the Commercial Operations Date;
(d) If the Dependable Capacity demonstrated by the Commercial Operation Test is above the Contracted Capacity, then Dependable Capacity shall be set at the value not exceeding the Contracted Capacity and if the Dependable Capacity is below the Contracted Capacity then the Dependable Capacity shall be set at the tested value.
7.1.1 Notification for test under Schedule 3
(a) Not less than fifteen (15) Days prior to the commencement of testing of the Facility pursuant to Schedule 3, the Company will deliver to BPDB in writing the final program for such test including the expected duration of the testing program for conducting all relevant tests required by Schedule 3.
(b) If BPDB is unable to accommodate the schedule for such test or tests as provided by the Company in the final schedule for the program of tests pursuant to the foregoing Section 7.1.1(a), BPDB will give the Company notice within forty-eight (48) hours of its receipt of the final schedule for testing of its requirements regarding deferral of any test or tests and the Parties will mutually agree on a date for any deferral test or program of test; provided, however, that any such delays shall be subject for the provisions of Section 7.5 below.
Commercial Operation Test. (a) The Commercial Operation Test shall be conducted by Lessor, at Lessor's sole expense, prior to the Scheduled Commercial Operation Date. Lessor shall provide Lessee with five (5) days prior notice of the Commercial Operation Test and Lessee shall have the opportunity to be present during such testing and validate the accuracy of the Commercial Operation Test and any test related data. During the Commercial Operation Test, Lessor shall demonstrate that Unit 1 is fully capable of delivering energy to and providing capacity through Transmission Provider's electric transmission system in accordance with the terms of the Facility Lease. During the Commercial Operation Test, Lessor shall also test Unit 1 to determine whether Xxxx 0 xxxxx xxx Xxxxxxxxxx Xxxxxxxxxxx Xxxxxx.
(x) The Commercial Operation Test shall demonstrate that Unit 1 can satisfy each of the Minimum Performance Levels, the Unit Reliability Test, the Unit Startup Test, the Unit Load/Unload Ramp Rate Test, the Net Unit Output Test, the Net Unit Heat Rate Test and the Emission Limits Test.
(c) The Unit Reliability Test shall demonstrate that Unit 1 can start successfully three (3) times consecutively and operate continuously for eight (8) hours at or above Minimum Load during each of the reliability demonstration periods. A successful start shall be determined when both combustion turbines are operating with Unit 1 at or above Minimum Load within five (5) hours of initiating a start command. For purposes of this Schedule 4.2, "Minimum Load" shall mean operation of either or both combustion turbines at sixty percent (60%) of full load on the temperature control curves, with operation of the steam turbine in sliding pressure mode and no supplemental firing.
(d) The Unit Startup Test shall demonstrate that Unit 1 can reach Maximum Load from a cold shutdown condition in a time period not to exceed five (5) hours. For purposes of this Schedule 4.2, "Maximum Load" shall mean operation of the combustion turbines at full load on the temperature control curves, with operation of the steam turbine in sliding pressure mode and with supplemental firing.
(e) The Unit Load/Unload Ramp Rate Test shall demonstrate, under the control of Lessee's Automatic Generation Control (AGC), the rate that Unit 1 can ramp up from Minimum Load to Maximum Load, and ramp down from Maximum Load to Minimum Load, with the combustion turbines operating under the following conditions: (i) operation of only the first combustion turb...
Commercial Operation Test. At least seven (7) Business Days prior to its Initial Delivery Date, Seller shall schedule and complete a Commercial Operation test for each Generating Unit (“Commercial Operation Test”). Such Commercial Operation Test shall be scheduled and conducted in accordance with Appendix 7 hereto. Seller shall use commercially reasonable efforts to undertake such activities in sufficient time to achieve Commercial Operation by the Guaranteed Initial Delivery Date and Buyer will reasonably cooperate with Seller to meet such deadline. The Commercial Operation Test shall establish the initial level of Contract Capacity for purposes of calculating the Monthly Capacity Payment under Section 9.2 and Appendix 1.1.1 shall be automatically amended to reflect the Contract Capacity achieved during such test, subject to the limitations in Section 1.1.1. 19
Commercial Operation Test. (a) The Commercial Operation Test shall be conducted by Lessor, at Lessor’s sole expense. During the Commercial Operation Test, Lessor shall demonstrate that the Unit 1 Facility is fully capable of delivering energy to and providing capacity through Transmission Provider’s electric transmission system in accordance with the terms of the Facility Lease. During the Commercial Operation Test, Lessor shall also test the Unit 1 Facility to demonstrate that the Unit 1 Facility can satisfy the requirements of the following tests:
Commercial Operation Test. The nominal capacity of the Facility is expected to be 1132 MW (566 MW per Unit). The Contract Capacity Rating for the first year following Commercial Operation shall be based on actual demonstrated capability following performance testing with over pressure and power augmentation as corrected to [redacted] and [redacted] relative humidity. Seller will have the right to re-demonstrate within [redacted] of the initial demonstration. Thereafter, the annual Contract Capacity Rating will be declared prior to June 1 for each year of the term of the Agreement. All capacity-dependent payments or calculations will utilize the figure determined in this manner for each twelve (12) month period beginning June 1 of each year. For the term of the Agreement, [redacted]. The capacity dedicated to and obligated to Buyer under this agreement shall be 200/1132 times the annual Contract Capacity Rating (Buyer's "Contract Capacity Rating").
Commercial Operation Test. The initial Demonstrated Capability of the Block shall be established in accordance with the performance testing procedures set forth in Appendix D. Seller shall nominate the initial Designated Capacity of the Block following such performance testing, but such nomination shall occur at least one day before the later of the Required Commercial Operation Date and the Commercial Operation Date. Such nomination shall not exceed the Demonstrated Capability of the Block.
Commercial Operation Test. The Tested Reliable Capacity of the Facility shall be established in accordance with Appendix A and the Performance Test procedures set forth in Appendix D. Seller shall designate the initial Designated Base Capacity and the initial Designated Supplemental Capacity in accordance with Appendix A.
Commercial Operation Test. At least seven (7) Business Days prior to the Initial Delivery Date, but no earlier than thirty (30) days prior to the Initial Delivery Date, Seller shall schedule and complete a Commercial Operation test for the Energy Storage System (“Commercial Operation Test”). Such Commercial Operation Test shall be scheduled and conducted in accordance with Appendix 7 hereto and shall be deemed a Buyer Cost Test. Seller shall use commercially reasonable efforts to undertake such activities in sufficient time to achieve Commercial Operation by the Guaranteed Initial Delivery Date and Buyer will reasonably cooperate with Seller to meet such deadline. The Commercial Operation Test shall establish the initial level of Contract Capacity and Tested Round-Trip Efficiency Rate for purposes of calculating the Monthly Capacity Payment under Section 9.2. 20
